I check my bank account at least 10 times a day! Never in my life will i bank with tsb again! I could cry!
  • Nothing here today either. Phoned them up and got the chirpy American lass. No timelines story given. Confirmed again that activity on my account/complaint said that payment has gone to the Refunds Department on the 29th December.

Already knew that and still waiting. Anybody else here been told that the payment has gone to the refunds dept for payment processing .... and how long did it take? (sorry for those still waiting especially since August ... nuts!).
  • i was told that mine went on the 20th dec but theres a back log because of the bank holidays

I have had to go on a debt management program! I had a change in circumstances at work and my wage dropped which meant I couldnt afford the loan reapyments! i set up a reduced rate with them and they still took the full amount! Of course I couldnt afford to pay this much and when direct debits came out of my account they charged me as there were insufficient funds in my account! £80 they charged me!!!! I rang them and told them it was their mistake and i wanted the money refunded back into my account< they said i could have £10 back!
I have now got a bank acount with RBS and they are much better! TSB have said that they will pay the money into that account! TSB are now getting £30 a month to pay off the loan i had with them and I'm afraid that is the way it is going to stay!

my original offer was 8th Sept recalculated interest 5th Dec now I understand they have recalculated interest again so I must await another letter. Although the later claims seem to have already been settled.

I have rung the ombudsman today who tell me that I could make a formal complaint but LTSB could then suspend payment and fight, this may then take up to a year. As I have now been waiting 9 months since my orignal claim date I don't want to wait another year. So just have to sit tight

Ive not recieved a recalculation letter, all ive had is the origonal offer l;etter dated the 12th Oct, i cant actually quite believe what the hold up is and how they are allowed to drag this on so long and put payments through from offers dated alot later, they should be making the well over due payments a priority and i dont understand why they arent??:o:(:( ive lost faith in ever getting paid!!
