Not taking anything away from those that have got paid
well done to all of you :j
just so annoyed that those they have been waiting the longest have got nothing and unless the postman has got it in his sack,we know it wont be in santas

Merry xmas to you all heres hoping the new year brings us all some good news :santa2:
  • checked my bank account this morning to find an extra £13k. Christmas has come early
  • Finally got my refund this morning just under 5k. Long time waiting (offer letter 13 October) just hope the people who have waited a lot longer than me get their refunds soon.

    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j
  • I have been watching on here since september when I got my letter and Today I have been paid. Amazing.
    Good luck everyone
  • Still nothing for me
  • Congratulations to all who have received their money, here is my story:

12th May 2011 : Submit my claim to lloydstsb for the return of payment protection which i had always been told was "Required" but infact was optional and un-needed since i had private health cover.

15 June 2011 : Ring Lloyds to check they have received my claim and explain that i am in the forces and would be away for the next 3 months and uncontactable. Told "We have received your claim and it should be resolved by the time you return", I think "woopie, extra money for Christmas".

26 September 2011: Check my bank account and no payments, ring up Lloyds ppi complaint line (almost an hour to be connected), told "we have sent a letter saying we uphold your claim and that the money shall be with you shortly". Reality is that i have no letter and after some delving by the operator on the other end of the line she find out they sent the letter to an address i had left 5 years previous (Weird how all other statements and offers for insurance/cerdit cards etc come to the right address). Im told that the letter will be resent to the correct address.

26 September - 23 December 2011 : Still no Letter, I ring up once per week to see what is happening, im told that im complaint has been upheld and that the matter is with the payments department whop should issue me my money soon.

22 December 2011 : Letter sent to Ceo of Llodstsb with loan numbers and explaining what has happened, letter sent via Registered delivery and has been received. Financial ombusman is going to chase the case too.

    Here is my gripe :

Letter sent to the wrong address ? In this day and age we are told to be careful with and correspondence with addresses on, Lloyds send my offer with numbers/figures address and name to the wrong address, What about identity fraud? These are the people i have all my money and mortgage with, im a little bit worried.

The telephone operator is always polite and apologises when they look at my case since they see how long it has been going on and also see that the complaint has been upheld. Nobody seems to be able to give me any information, they say that the payments section can only be contacted by email. Even my Gran has a telephone and she's 87, I feel very fobbed off.

If i owed lloydstsb money they would have taken me to court to get the money off me had i stalled as long as they have stalled on paying. Should i be due compensation?

I never moan normally but in the past i once went £11 overdrawn and lloyds sent letter and charged me some ridiculous fee, made me feel like a convict.
Throughout this whole claim they have not emailed me/phoned me or sent me a letter explaining what has happened, what will happen or when i can expect payment.

Anybody else had the same problem or is it just me?

Only the whole world mate! You are not alone trust me. The truth of the matter is tat Lloyds are a shambles.

Take today; earlier this week we were told the refund would arrive yesterday AT THE VERY VERY VERY LATEST; we were personally guaranteed. Guess what? No Money. Offer letter received in late august (that's the dates they work on)

    it's farcical.

  • I am sorry for those who have not recieved payment ... My letter and emails to CEO and chairman of Lloyds seemed to have helped x keep on them with letters and emails, calls don't seem to help
