  • No payment I will call next Thursday as that's when there 10 working days is up ... :-(
  • Nothing for me either.
  • Me neither. Told another porkie pie again yesterday.

For the third time in a row I was told I WILL receive payment in the next 7-10 days. When I told her that I have been told this on two previous occasions she told me that she will "escalate" payment????? When I asked her what it means she replied 'that i will email payments team to authorise payment'. I then told her that 20 seconds previously she told me I will receive payment in next 7-10days the phone just fell silent......talk about being caught out. They just fob you off with standard preset replies. She finally admitted this and said she doesnt know when I will receive payment as the backlog is a total mess.

Finally in avery patronising way she wished merry christmas.

    Lovely.

New account up and ready to go. Cannot wait. :D
  • Seems no payments today :-( I hope they are coming Friday ,especially for those who have been waiting forever !!
  • Came on here looking for timescales for settlements, seems to be a few horror stories!

Timeline, cancelled ppi on my tsb mastercard beginning of march 11
Filled ppi complaint form end sept 11
    Acknoweldgment letter dated 3/10/11
Letter dated 9/12/11 arrived 16/12 offering me £xxxx to be paid into my current account,
No second letter/ acknowledgement slip to sign!
telephoned asking if i had to sign acceptance & was told no, i only had to phone if i DIDNT accept, and should be in my account within 28 days!
Now hearing they can deduct the amount they owe me from my outstanding balance, is this true? :(

Anyone claimed credit card ppi shed any light on this for me?

Cheers in advance& hope you all get settled soon

    Hi

You should be ok for you're money. It will arrive within the 28 days as its only the August, Sept and Oct acceptance letters that are in the mess. As for the money going on outstanding balance's that will only happen if you are in arrears with you're card. Other than that you should get what it says on you're letter.

    Hope that helps.
