Sorry, but that's not true. I received my new recalculation letter on Tuesday. So far Mr. M predictions were true.

yeah but your offer letter was in Oct wasn't it? Ours was in August, so you're probably not part of the big backlog (ie building A B C D not talking to each other) like us poor losers. You're probably just delayed, not forgotten about  We've had !!!! all! :o:D

Someone's probably hacked them to get their money
  • Probably no work getting done today with all their systems down! It's their ready made excuse for why they could'nt get our payments to us before christmas!!!

Either that or it really has gone down the swanny...

funnily enough, the only part of my internet banking which is actually working/showing a balance is for the money I owe them (loan, credit card)... the accounts which are in credit are the ones with the missing info!
  • Update for everyone:

    Original complaint sent in July
    Acceptance in October
Apology for delay letter sent in Nov
Final 'we will pay you' letter received 5th Dec (dated Dec 2nd)
Total claim amount due to me £2949.

Today I've received a payment (early hours) for 1716.70 - This is from Loans direct (loan still active) for a refund of premiums paid.

I've been advised that the remainder will be paid to me from the PPI complaints team directly into my bank but they cannot advise when I will receive these payments, only that they will be randomly paid to me and will show on my statement as 'PPI Refund'

Half way there! but thought I'd provide a summary as this may help some of you establish timescales for your own claims.

    Good luck everyone :)

That's helped me to establish that Lloyds TSB really have no set way of dealing with complaints! :D
