    Oh dear, here we go again;

I'm now on day 89 since my offer letter, and still no money. Well no cash anyway!!!
Last Friday they transfered the whole of my £9000+ to my current Loan account. However up to now I've had no letter to explain why or how it will restructure my current Loan.
Half of this money was refunds from previous closed Loans. So now Im begining to wonder if they just intend to reduce my Loan by the whole £9000+
The thing to remember is that they can only do this if my loan is in arrears. But its not!!!
This money is a refund of an insurance which should have never been sold to me in the first place. I was told when taking out these Loans that the interest rate would be higher if I did not take PPI.
There has been much disscussion on here that it will be transfered to my current account. But that remains to be seen.

On another point; How can the MSE team block Mr Marksman, as he was the only person giving us just a little information. This really makes us all wonder if MSE in in LloydsTSB pocket!!!!

So, MSE, how about a comment on this matter from you???

Dont be suprised if I get Blocked for the above comments!!!!

I will now post daily on my PPi progress. So if theres no post, you will know whats happened!!!

Good luck to all, hoping for a nice Christmas......

Well according to the 2nd person I spoke to today , the open loan restructure can take 21days !!!
  • I got my recalc letter through today. Lloyds up their offer from 6,800 to 7,500. Which is strange as it was only an extra months interest to be calculated so they must have got that wrong.

Whats the delay from the recalc letter to payment looking like with most of the others on the board?

    Thanks.

is there a specific time of month they pay out?

I been reading posts. For a while and there seems to be a flurry of payments at the beginning of the month. Which was what my. bank manager told me that they allocate a certain amount for each month. Dont know if there is any truth to this its just what i was told

Which makes me wonder whether the 3bn was underestimated and whether applying capital to loans first is a cynical method of massaging the books...

It comes as Lloyds said boss Antonio Horta-Osorio was to return to work from sick leave on 9 January.

And there's going to be a whoooooooooole pile of emails waiting for him.

  • update from the rollercoaster ride here. I've had two more letters today, and two more refunds. the refunds today total £3.8k. in addition to the £3k from before. and need to clarify one letter, as it implies another £1,200 on top of that. I should be a very chuffed lady tonight. BUT...they're threatening to put it in to the same dormant account they've already refused me access to on Monday!!! arrrgh! need to get on the phone first thing tomorrow to try and stop them putting it all in a 'black hole'. One bit of me says, why care, most of it's paying off what I owe, so it's up to them to make sure it goes where it should. But after this latest refund they owe ME money. In my dark moments of despair on Monday night I threatened to go on hols and tell em to stick it. Now it looks as though I can go on hols for real. SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!
  • Hi just to let you know, as from today, I join your queue, as received my Offer Letter today for £10,820. Old loan from 2001, Claim sent 27 Sep 2011.

    Well another disappointing day again.

    :(

    Still waiting for my 15k.

Original offer calc letter received 12 September.

No re-calc letter as promised and no apologee letter either, absolute !!!!!! all.

So many calls and emails it's getting boring now.

Fed up with the way Lloyds are treating their "valued customers" :(

I just want my money back now.

Can't believe how long I've been waiting so far! 95 days!

    So unfair

I had 3 closed loans which had ppi and now have 1 open loan without ppi... Don't understand why mine is taking so long as I don't even need my open loan restructured.

I have an open lloyds account so why is it so difficult to pay me my money!? :-(

    BACS, chaps, flaps whatever!

I'm not sure what really happens with the loan restructuring and payments but I was told that I would receive the money that I had paid in PPI. I was specifically told that it would not be used to reduce the loan repayments or balance, but bearing in mind the lies LTSB tells who knows?

It is unlikely that they will act in time. I have been waiting for £7000 since 18 August.

I would submit the CC claim now. It will be processed under a different reference number and should not delay the current claim.

Thanks for this. It looks like we are in roughly the same 'batch' in theory (if your offer was 18 August?) but it seems Lloyds are not sticking to strict chronological order, to put it mildly. I have downloaded another FOS questionnaire and we will fill it in for the CC. Not expecting this to be paid until 2012 ;-)
