    CHAPS

CHAPS Sterling is a same-day automated payment system for processing sterling payments made within the UK, between its member banks.

The main benefit of CHAPS is that it is fast as the money is transferred the same day. Unlike other forms of payment such as cheques, CHAPS payments are irrevocable.

I wouldn't hold my breath if i were you

Mine are:- Complaint 20/6/2011, offer received 13/10/2011 interest dated till 5/11/2011 ......not a sausage since despite many phone calls. Not had letter of apology for delay like many others or new interest calculated. A work mate put his complaint in (on my advise) on the 20/10/2011 and received his refund in his bank on the 2/12/2011. He never made a single call to them as he thought it would be months before he got his money.

LTSB make us look like mugs.

And as for Marksman and his ban....well. Unbelievable!
