Me too! I was told my figures, she also said that their system is different to the payments team so it was recalculated before then! When were you told your figures? I'm still hopeful of payment before Xmas, I've been waiting 16 weeks tomorrow since first offer letter, and 15 months since putting my claim in so mine is long overdue now.

Was told on the 5th the new figures and that a letter had been sent on the 2nd,on the 8th was told that some1 had reveiwed my acc that day but didnt know why and payment was imminent.
    been waiting since 19th sept

Nobody getting payments? No news? No reply to emails, 8 banking days left before christmas, it takes 3 days for lloydstsb to transfer funds into accounts.... IMO it looks like LloydsTSB are going to let many many people down and ruined their Christmas. There is no reason WHY LLoydsTSB couldn't just pay what they owe and send the remaining interest at a later date.... No, bah humbug....... i'm appauled......

  • But still no payment for you - right?

    Nope...still no payment for me

    :(
  • Still waiting, offer 9 October, recalculations 9 November, interest to 6 December.
One payment received, into Lloyds current account and was by BACS.

    As I understand it:
payments due into non Lloyds accounts - seem to be by cheque
payments into Lloyds current accounts when no current loan involved - either CHAPS (instant) if you are really lucky but mostly normal BACS which is a 3 day system. If they put through on a Monday, payment Wednesday morning (usually early hours). Tuesday is Thursday,Wednesday is Friday. My first payment arrived 3am on a Thursday. My sad habit now is to check online 6am every morning Mon-Fri. BACS not received at weekends.
It seems Lloyds are 'not presently using' the new Faster Payments System (few hours or overnight) for these payments.
If there is a current loan involved they transfer into the loans department, who then sort it out and forward the appropriate amount to the current account.

I am waiting for £12,000. Have given up emailing or phoning as getting nowhere. Wonder if the men whose wages I pay would be happy if I said 'nothing this week, maybe sometime in January, Ive got a lot to pay!' Think I would have a riot on my hands...

Original letter 22nd Sept, with interest upto Oct 19th.

Spoke to someone end of October who said I would receive payment in the next couple of weeks. Since then, nothing.

Unable to get through on the phone, just keeps ringing and ringing and ringing...
Anyone got a different phone number where they anwser the phone.

I just wish the media would cover this story with what is happening or not happening. LLoyds TSB would do something then.

I have been a customer for over 30 years and when I finally get my payment I will be closing my account with them.
  • still no letter recalculation or cheque for me 12 weeks since calculation letter :(
im lucky in that i didnt bank sorry no pun intended on having the money to spend on xmas and so havent felt the pain others are feeling although it would have meant not so much budgeting and scrimping
guess we are not going to see our money this year maybe next year we will be lucky
wheres marksman for a update ?
  • The Marksman may well have been right!

I know it's only my second post, but trust me, this has felt like it's been going on for donkeys! Buuuuuut, today I (finally) had a payment.

This is the important note, though. Originally, my offer was for little over £1200. Then the recalc came through last week for an extra £100. The complaint was upheld end of August, with original offer sent mid September (the 17th).

The loan it was all against is still active.

Like I say, I called last Friday about the whole ambiguousness of the 'loan reconstruction' and recorded the answer that I would receive whatever was quoted as full actual payment.

Today I received £1,141 and change through BACS! Phoned the number on the recalc letter to ask where the rest was and after the idiot tried to lie to me immediately after verification ('Oh, if your complaint was started through the FOS, you have to call them. I can't speak to you'............'Well in that case, can I speak to your manager, because the dozen advisors in your department that I've spoken to in your department about specifically this complaint have never had such a problem? Also, I am recording this phone call because of all the problems with the last several'...............'Well if I can just check you're account. Well, okay. How can I help today?'), she gave quite a logical answer.

The missing £170, apparently, has not gone towards paying off my loan as feared, but will still be paid by the date my recalc letter advises.

The explanation went that what I've been today is JUST for the payments I've made towards PPI from monthly premiums. The total of interest will arrive by December 23rd. As for the recpompense for the many wasted hours on the phone in the past few months, well I'm on that one.

    Hope this helps.

Best of luck folks. I reckon it's on the way soon!
