Absolutely nothing here either. It is so frustrating!! I cant believe a company of this size is allowed to get away with how they are treating people. I have e-mailed numerous times now, with no repsonse at all. I have refrained from calling them as by reading on here it seems to just add to the frustration and you never get any real answers!

True, I have given up phoning now, am trusting that the letter from my MP might do the trick. Hope it doesn't delay it further although from some of the posts on here it has helped speed up a payment in some cases.:(

ive just discovered that my current loan (no ppi) has been reduced by 2400. this value doesnt match any figures on my calc sheet. Is this reduced because irefinanced a loan that had ppi and they have lowered the balance as i refinanced more than i would have needed to. Or have they just randomly decided to pay some money off. I was expecting another 13200 back and im now concerned im not getting all of it as they paid some without my consent.

    Worry not people ;)

If your loan is current, the redress ppi payment will first be made into your loan account and then is checked against that loan etc, interest and if ppi from a loan this loan closed off, as even if the new loan had no ppi if it closed off one with ppi, a very small unrefunded amount of ppi would have been carried over (which the customer had no idea!) and you would of been paying interest on this amount! etc so this has to be checked. Also the redress payment if you hold a current loan is raised from the loan department which is different for closed loans.

do not worry what you have on your letters is what you will get ;)

That's what Marksman said a few pages back if it helps

Hi guys, completely newbie poster, however, I've been monitoring numerous threads recently to get a better picture of my own situation. To provide a quick summary:

Loan taken with PPI Nov 08

    Complaint made in July 11

    Upheld & letter received Oct
Apology for delay letter received Nov

Final "we will pay you in 21 days!" letter received early Dec.

Most recent action on my loan account shows, that the balance has been reduced dramatically, and I've been advised that I shall be receiving a refund of £2949.70 to my current account & a further £1300 of (future PPI payments) knocked off the remaining balance of the loan.

Question that I'm dying to know is how long it will take for the money to be transferred to my bank? I've been advised that the amendments were initiated on the 8th, however, Lloyds advised that the finance team need to calculate the refund before making this?!

Weird as the amendments to my monthly repayments have already been made and I've already received a breakdown of what I'm to receive?!

I thought this would be a simple adjust the loan/repayments > transfer refund but it appears not?

Can anyone (speaking from experience) shed some light? Any help would be greatly appreciated:)

    Anyone help with timescales? :)

Hopefully you wont wait too long, this thread speaks for its self i am afraid,Lloyds are not dealing with claims in the way they should.

With yours being calculated and the loan reset,it should not be too long, fingers crossed.

I hope so :) I've been reading through everyone's posts over the past couple of weeks & can at least take comfort knowing I'm not alone, but can honestly say that I'm disgusted with Lloyds & the way they have acted with all our cases. I've never known anything like this in my life. Hope everyone else gets sorted soon too *crosses fingers*
  • PPI refund promised by LLoyds TSB 1 month after 16 september (actual figure given), then told it would be max 90 days in time for xmas. When called up was told don't know why i had not been put forward for recalculation of interest. Still waiting........ Why did they send me the letter in the first place if they can't keep to their promise and Im one of their customers.......Guess there are a few like me out there getting more and more frustrated..... Whatever happened to having something in writing being legal and binding......
  • Just called up again and they confirmed what marksman has said, whatever is on my letter is what i will receive back. The money thats been paid off is as a result of previous refinancing that would have been higher due to the ppi so they reduced the loan by that relevant amount. There is also a note on my account from the payments team as of the 8th december saying they are working on my payments now with the recalc figures. She said it looks likely ill get it very soon as a result and that there was a good chance that ill get it before xmas.

Thats what i was told this morning when i phoned:j Still I have told family that christmas is cancelled:( x
  • Just got off the phone ( again ) to Lloyds and wasnt told anything useful :(

They told me yesterday to phone back today as there might be an update on my account as to when my payment will be due. There was no update what so ever and the guy I spoke to said he couldnt give me a date when i would receive my payment ( its with the payment team )....just to keep waiting and checking my internet banking.

He at least was honest even saying I might not even get it before Christmas, as there is still 1000's of people waiting for payments.

I have been waiting 90+ days now since receiving my original offer letter ( 12th Sep ), surely I must be close to getting what is rightfully mine.

I've had enough of ringing this week so will try again on Monday which will then be my 100th day of waiting.

Takes the p1ss it really does.

Im seriously happy that people have been paid and i really mean this, but its just so unfair that people like myself have been waiting for sooooo long when our offer letters were received first. It sounds abit childish but its the truth. Anybody who received offer letters in October, Novemeber and even December shouldnt be paid until Septmeber people or earlier are paid first.

Its like standing in a massive Greggs queue for hours just wanting a sausage roll, and when you get to the front of the queue the person standing behind you gets asked and served before you! :(

Sorry for the rant but it really getting to me now.

  • Damn you Lloyds ... why do you make us wait months and months ... why can you not give status updates on individual accounts ... why do your staff have zero information to feed back to clients ... what are you really up too? Damm I am fed up with this useless bank!
