LloydsTSB PPI Payment
Comments

Had a letter from LloydsTSB today with new recalculation of interest up to 30.12.2011. They also informed me that they will make arrangements for this payment to be made, which will be in form of a direct payment into my bank account to resolve the matter for me as quick ad possible. Fingers crossed!
I was told that I had been sent a recalc letter on 2nd Dec with interest also up to 30th Dec but not even received letter yet. Hoping desparately for payment this week!.:(0 -
what I dont understand is why are people with offer letters dated November being paid before people with offer letters dated SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER??
Can anyone explain this??:mad:0 -

Certainly can;
Lloyds, as opposed to any other normal company, are treating those waiting the longest as a nuisance and not a priority.
I suspect it looks better for them to say 90% (yeah right) of claims are dealt with within 8 weeks. Without mentioning that the other 10% (more like the other way round) have been waiting 8 months.0 -
I have tried calling several times now over the past week and not been able to speak to anyone about an update. I have been calling 0845 601 2683 & also 0845 602 4534 I have had a letter with the amount they are paying but as the interest is only up until 13th Oct they are now telling me they are recalculating the interest but I’m concerned as I cant actually speak to anyone about how long I expect to wait for my money I’m seriously doubting I will get any now! Is anyone else having difficulties getting through to them?
I have just managed to speak to someone, my recalculation still hasn’t happened even though it was 'escalated' on the 15th Nov. Once my letter has been issued it will be atleast 21 days for my refund so doesn’t look like I will be getting my money in 2011 arraagh
@Anth1
I alway ring 0845 601 2683 and get through after waiting 8-10 mins, im just getting told my case is a priority and the payment team is looking into it...." expect your payment real soon so keep checking your online banking".
They also keep telling me it will be worth the wait as im due 90 + days of 8% interest on top.
To be honest i was happy with my first offer and would rather have received that ages ago rather than waiting 3 months ( and still more ) for this extra interest.
You mention you also ring the following number 0845 602 4534, what exactly is this number for as i've never seen this before.
Many Thanks!
Danny.
ps..good luck

well my MP has finally confirmed that he is going to chase Lloyds for my payment (offer letter 8th Sept) hope that he does this pretty quickly but I have asked him to either copy me into any mail or else let me know when he contacts them so that I can monitor the length of time to payment. Other people on this forum that have got their MPs involved have been paid pretty quickly after so here's hoping!
