I think there is some truth about when you started to claim and receiving payment.

Unless the new redress letters are incorrect DO NOT PHONE THEM unless your calculated interest date lapses (which it shouldnt do this time, 10-15 days max). ;)

you all are asking why dont phone them, quickest answer, you go on a spreadsheet! not a payment spreadsheet, but a case needs looking at spreadsheet which because you phoned has to be dealt with by a management team (very small) ;)

hope this info helps people ;)

I'm inclined to agree with Marksman on this, I never phoned or e mailed to ask about my case at all and it was dealt with from start to finish in 11 weeks, you should only contact them if they go over set time scales or miss deadlines. If everything is going Ok I wouldn't rock the boat, it can just slow things down further. It's difficult I know but sometimes just sitting tight and being patient can pay off ;)

I didn't complain at all until the first calculation of interest date had passed i.e. 6th October when I was told to wait, which I did for a couple of weeks when I rang again. I admit I have rang every week since but without getting anywhere. Last week was told that recalc letter had been done and sent 2nd Dec but not received it yet!

Dont know where you are getting your info Marksman but you seem to have been right so far, getting you lots of fans on this site (or that could be your new profile pic). I just hope I will get mine soon i.e. before Christmas. :(
  • Received a total of 6 *offer* letters through the letterbox on friday morning with a total offer of 11k to be repaid to me :T

    *Result*
  • I don't buy this whole don't phone because it will mean you go on the wrong spreadsheet scenario. It makes no sense whatsoever that those who legitimately complain end up in a worse position than those who don't.

I also find this building A-D thing a bit far fetched for the digital era.

Don't know what your source is Marksman but I guess we have all been let down so much by this lot over the months to the extent that it is difficult to take anything seriously, especially when inside info is hinted at!!!!

I do think you are being a little unfair to "The Marksman". As we have had zero information from LloydsTSB, its nice to hear at least a little hope.
This whole affair has made us think bad of everything and everyone. It has made us angry and frustrated.
Thank you to "The Marksman" for your help and info.
Lets just hope the nightmare is almost over and we can wake up from it!!!

Calc offer letter recieved 12th September.

    15k to be recieved.

No re-calc letter even though original interest was calculated upto 6th Oct.

    3 closed loans.

1 ongoing but with no PPI.

Lots of emails and phone calls.

Was told on Friday morning that a team/manager was looking at my claim on Thursday and the person I spoke to said i was going to be sorted very soon. He said I need to keep checking my lloyds Internet banking as the payment will be there very soon...it could be in the next day or so or even in a few hours so keep checking.

Well I've been checking and still nothing!!! :-(

Guess I'll keep waiting...not that 90 days isn't long enough.

I do not think bad of the Marksman nor am I frustrated by him - quite the opposite in fact.

I just think that people should be careful about getting their hopes up too much. We have all seen people getting promises from LTSB and then having them dashed over and over again and I wouldn't want anyone to have to endure the negative side of this again.

Hope is ok as long as it is real and it's only real if LTSB themselves pull their finger out.
  • No magic monday for me
  • No luck for me also!!
  • no smile for me either. :(
