Well, one of them anyway!
This payment was for the offer letter received on the 18th October. I do have another that was dated the 21st October so I am hoping to receive it during the week (am now hoping that they might continue in date order but I know that this has not necessarily been the case)...
I had given up all hope of receiving anything before xmas but am so chuffed
Hang in there guys, it will happen - hopefully sooner rather than later!
great:beer: im staying possitive your dates are very close to mine so who knows :xmassign:0 -

Unless the new redress letters are incorrect DO NOT PHONE THEM unless your calculated interest date lapses (which it shouldnt do this time, 10-15 days max).
you all are asking why dont phone them, quickest answer, you go on a spreadsheet! not a payment spreadsheet, but a case needs looking at spreadsheet which because you phoned has to be dealt with by a management team (very small)
hope this info helps people
Awesome, it's just nice to get some info to get your head around it, fingers crossed for Xmas then!0 -

I'm inclined to agree with Marksman on this, I never phoned or e mailed to ask about my case at all and it was dealt with from start to finish in 11 weeks, you should only contact them if they go over set time scales or miss deadlines. If everything is going Ok I wouldn't rock the boat, it can just slow things down further. It's difficult I know but sometimes just sitting tight and being patient can pay off

Re recal letter dated 2nd Dec... still not received. Getting stressed I wont receive money b4 xmas. Original complaint in May, upheld Aug, 1st calc letter 19 Sept.
I also claimed in May & was told i should have had recalc letter weeks ago.Original interest up to 20 Oct. Friend of mine claimed at same time as us & noticed mony had been paid into her account a month ago. She`d been expecting cheque in post as was i. Makes no sense.0 -

have to be very careful here as i dont want to get anyone in trouble nor do i understand the legal side of this so have to state these are my views.
All cases were sent to building A by us, these were then sent to building B because of the huge amount of complaints.
building B, then has to get information from building C and if your complaint loan dates are between (2001-2007) building D was needed!
once these buildings got all the info and calculations, building B sent letters out. Which we returned to building A, which then returned to building B, building B then raised calculation letters and sent them out but failed to retain copies or inform building A (hence some cheque being sent twice, bouncing, bacs being withdrawn) all payments stopped. Building b then had to work out who/which group had been messed up (may) building B then had to redo everything as before and resend out calculation letters but need building A to sign off, but whilst building A are doing this building A are doing new complaints from now on. see the delay & non-delay. then payment if your a cheque and older loan your payment needs to be paid from building D to building A before its sent, which i believe has been done (can be bacs or cheque), some older loan redress payments are unable to be paid by bacs due to where the funds are raised from, so when building B changed your payment type (if asked by you) this had to be sent to building A and Building A said no! Newer loans and some bacs/cheque come from building A but have a daily target for payments out, so sometimes slow to push the button. confused? i know i !!!!!! am
when you call up, you call building B but this has to be sent to building A to be looked into, but building A is the building doing everything so you have to go on a case needs attention spreedsheet and sent over from building B to building A however small or large the query but all this is sorted now and all payments will follow very very shortly
I hope this may help & indeed will cofuse im sure
;)
I've said this before; if lloyds had instructed their call centre staff to be honest and they said "Sorry, we've had some internal problems and !!!! ups. You may now be waiting several months" instead of "Cant tell you anything. No Timescales. Have you checked your account? Stop ringing us. We have no idea and no-one can help" then, whilst I would still be highly annoyed - I wouldn't have felt the need to ring every single day to try and find out what the hell was going on. Sometimes honesty really is the best policy!
I'm also tempted to message Martin & Guy and tell them that the version of events Lloyds gave to MSE doesn't quite match the internal version!0 -

I think there is some truth about when you started to claim and receiving payment.
I'm lucky, complaint went in September, Upheld 24th November, came home from work today to open four separate cheque's totaling £3500! Have one outstanding loan for £3800, Debt free in the new year! Thank you MSE.
To all those still waiting, keep your chin up, It'll happen soon!!
