  • Just woken up to no payment - but Lloyds have charged me £20 for going through my o/d last month and slapped a £5 penalty charge for that charge putting me through my o/d limit now - so £4 left in my account has turned into £20 over my limit and another £20 charge next month :( My Nurses bursary is £520 a month and with that I have to pay £240 for petrol, buy food and pay for xmas... Thanks Lloyds - totally screwed again.

  • Worry not people ;)

If your loan is current, the redress ppi payment will first be made into your loan account and then is checked against that loan etc, interest and if ppi from a loan this loan closed off, as even if the new loan had no ppi if it closed off one with ppi, a very small unrefunded amount of ppi would have been carried over (which the customer had no idea!) and you would of been paying interest on this amount! etc so this has to be checked. Also the redress payment if you hold a current loan is raised from the loan department which is different for closed loans.

do not worry what you have on your letters is what you will get ;)

  • Ok, new redress letters will be out by end of next week, then payment via cheque's will follow, bacs will start on a day to day basis ;)

Unless the new redress letters are incorrect DO NOT PHONE THEM unless your calculated interest date lapses (which it shouldnt do this time, 10-15 days max). ;)

you all are asking why dont phone them, quickest answer, you go on a spreadsheet! not a payment spreadsheet, but a case needs looking at spreadsheet which because you phoned has to be dealt with by a management team (very small) ;)

hope this info helps people ;)

Does this mean that because I called yesterday... I have less chance of getting any money any time soon Mr Marksman???

While it might suggest differences in the heirarchy of the section, which quite franky is obvious, it is useless in terms of explaining why not phoning has meant payment hasn't been paid when there are no related loans... Sorry MM I fear your chain is being jurked...
  • this may also affect a small amount of complaints after ;)

have to be very careful here as i dont want to get anyone in trouble nor do i understand the legal side of this so have to state these are my views.

All cases were sent to building A by us, these were then sent to building B because of the huge amount of complaints.

building B, then has to get information from building C and if your complaint loan dates are between (2001-2007) building D was needed!

once these buildings got all the info and calculations, building B sent letters out. Which we returned to building A, which then returned to building B, building B then raised calculation letters and sent them out but failed to retain copies or inform building A (hence some cheque being sent twice, bouncing, bacs being withdrawn) all payments stopped. Building b then had to work out who/which group had been messed up (may) building B then had to redo everything as before and resend out calculation letters but need building A to sign off, but whilst building A are doing this building A are doing new complaints from now on. see the delay & non-delay. then payment if your a cheque and older loan your payment needs to be paid from building D to building A before its sent, which i believe has been done (can be bacs or cheque), some older loan redress payments are unable to be paid by bacs due to where the funds are raised from, so when building B changed your payment type (if asked by you) this had to be sent to building A and Building A said no! Newer loans and some bacs/cheque come from building A but have a daily target for payments out, so sometimes slow to push the button. confused? i know i !!!!!! am :D

when you call up, you call building B but this has to be sent to building A to be looked into, but building A is the building doing everything so you have to go on a case needs attention spreedsheet and sent over from building B to building A however small or large the query but all this is sorted now and all payments will follow very very shortly ;)

I hope this may help & indeed will cofuse im sure ;);)

No! only if you waiting on a new calculations letter, if you havent had it yet you will be ok, but once you have it and if it looks ok, sit on those hands, i know its hard and very frustration but it will work :D
