I am going to have to try again this evening, because I am getting a number of nasty phonecalls because I promised to make payments last month on my mother's behalf as she is in hospital, using LTSB's own timeframe (with an extra week as leeway), but because Lloyds have been pushing back my payment further and further, and delay after delay, after delay, I have nothing, and the calls are continuing.

Newflash Lloyds, I cannot pay my mother's bloody bills with apologies, excuses and fob offs - if you were going to be horrifically delayed you should have told your customers in the first place, rather than treat them like mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed a load of s**t!)!
  • I am the same nuttygooner, I paid (and have now lost it!) £500 deposit on a car, and because cash was not in bank account when originally promised,to pay balance, the car has been sold to someone else and garage are saying tough :(
  • Just rang again and got through instantly, was told should have payment in 7-10 days but it is working days! It is on my file that i was told 7-10 working days which is friday so we will see if anything happens!

Same here called them and it was answerd within 3-4 minutes. They said the same thing to me so hopefully by friday we will get something

Yes, I have noticed that they had a few notes against me when I called them last week... How about investing that time, instead of writing notes against my file, into writing my bleeding cheque? :(

At 1st he was trying to fob me off by saying that he didn't know when payment would be, but i mentioned that I was told I would defo have payment in 7-10 working days he put me on hold and said it was on my file. Hopefully that's a good sign!
  • Right, after spending an HOUR on the phone - they have not even processed my cheque, apparently, I am on some sort of spreadsheet, and that my loan should not have been decreased before my cheque went out.

So, have they begun processing my cheque? Nope
Have they bothered taking my circumstances into account? Nope
Do they KNOW when my cheque will be processed? Nope
Do they know when I will be likely to receive it? I think you can guess the answer to this one!

I am sick to the stomach, because as it stands, I cannot answer the phone because it will be someone, who I had promised money using Lloyds own timeframe, and I cannot pay them - and I am reading on here of people who have not had their complaint handled for anywhere near as long as I have, and people getting their payments through quickly, and there si still a handful of us, still waiting for our money! It's a bloody joke!
  • Were they, well at least its on the file that they said that. To be honest i really dont think we will get this money by friday....Really cant see it

LLoyds are a Joke, they dont care about there customers at all. When i eventually get my refund I will be closing my accounts that I hold with Lloyds
  • Can someone explain to me what the hell is all this spreadsheet rubbish? A spreadsheet is just that - a spreadsheet. How does that possibly tell us - ordinary-people-on-the-street why they are now using this latest delaying tactic with words that arent actually relevant. It is not beyond the whit of technology to issue thousands of cheques and BACS in one day.

Do they care - do they give a toss - do they what....
  • Gordon Bennett... I was nattering to my mother about this palarva last night, and her words of sympathy and advice (considering that this money is supposed to be paying for HER bills)?

"You should have used one of those firms from the telly, they could get your money in 7-8 weeks..."

I feel a head banging on table moment coming on...
  • Am I alone in being confused with the spreadsheet thing? All I want is an explanation and then I want immediate payment of my money back.
Nutty - I would bang my head if I were you - loudly and thuddingly!!
