Well NO PAYMENT. I should now be on my way to London to be by my mothers bedside but because Lloyds still have my money I can't be there. I had arranged carer cover for my husband who is disabled so that I could go and now have had to cancel everything, to say I am furious and broken hearted is an understatement, They are even ignoring my MP, WHY????

Just got off the phone from them wher I was told more rubbish that a CHAPS takes 7 days to send from when it is authorised, so hopefully I will have my money tomorrow at the latest, I always thought a CHAPS was same day but not with LLOYDS it takes them 7 days as they have to pass it to another department and that takes seven days :eek::eek::eek::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: This is Lloyds after all.

Congratulations! :T:jCan I ask what date your recalculated interest was until. I have been told this morning that a new recalc letter was sent to me on 2nd Dec (not received yet) with interest until 30th Dec. Wondering if this is more delaying tactics and if there is a chance that I could get this before Christmas (2011 that is!):rotfl:

It would be interesting to know what kind of amounts people have been paid or are expecting. I think Lloyds is paying people who have offers under £1,000.
I am expecting a rather large amount (over £10,000) and I think this is the reason why they are holding on to the amount.
I worked in Finance and know how payment runs work. We paid thousand of transactions. It can't take that long to put them ont he system.
I really would like to close this matter before the year ends.
  • we're under £5000!
  • 14.5k and another 6 old loans waiting for calcs.
