great news for you but what also confuses and really really really irritates me is how come some people are recieving responses and promises, albiet alot of the time they are false promises but still you have a response.....i have not had a response from him as many many others have not....continuity is obvsiously not their thing!
Same here, no response at all, I have tried reasonable, nice, forceful, angry - nothing. Appalling conduct by Lloyds0 -

I hope you get good news to -I have never been off the phone since August of this year and bombarding emails claim was put in in May. So it has been no easy task I don't understand how it is not consistant and not simple. Egg was the best one settled up within 8 weeks of receiving claim all the same thing closed loans. From my point of view it looks like system errors that are way out of control. Look on the positive side and what the Marksman is saying looks like this could be a luck week for all fingers crossed:A0 -
Lets hope it works, sounds like you got a good responsive MP, I e-mailed mine and go no response whatsoever, not even an acknowledgement. I'm beginning to get paranoid now, first LTSB complaints, then Mr Hallettl, Ms Barry and now my MP - no one ever responds to my mails:(:(:(:(
Try emailing and posting a copy of letter ?!0 -

Well, just spoken with nice young man (no sarcasm intended) at customer no help line who tells me a recalc letter was written and sent on 2nd Dec with interest recalculated until 30th Dec (£100 extra - honestly I would have preferred to have been paid within their original timeframes minus the £100!). He said that BACS payment had been authorised but surprise surpise could not tell me when.
Hope this means you are right Marksman and payment is iminent. Trying desparately to hold on to positivity but slipping away fast.0 -
Well, I happen to know where my MP lives so if he ignores the email I'll be sending a copy to his office and one to his house
Thinking about it, an organisation I am part of had Nick Clegg as a guest at a dinner recently, I should have grabbed him and shoved him a copy of this thread :mad:0 -

Sounds like the conversations I had last Monday / Wednesday and Thursday... That pesky BACS payments seem to be 'authorised' but not arriving.
Hopefully we'll see a flurry of happy people tomorrow morning, of course I expect to be top of that list ;-)0
