I sincerely hope you get your pay out before Christmas, I would be hopeful as your claim seems to be slightly later that the ones that seem to be in the continuous "backlog". Fingers crossed for you.:T

Thanks for that, I am forever hopeful even in despair, to be honest I
wasn't expecting to get anything even a reply from them as have heard some bad stories, so at least I am further forward than I hoped!!:)

Yes but given that my claim went in in April, upheld August, offer letter 8th Sept and no payment at all, annoyed doesn't even begin to cover it!

Think I must have missed something, why 6pm is that when they close. I can't imagine them processing any more payments once the traditional banking hours have ended. But they could surprise us - not!:rotfl:

wonder if they are working off a different calender!;)
  • Made a ppi claim in june 2011, received a letter giving us the usual 16 week deadline. Rang middle of october to chase and was told a letter had been sent out on 29th september upholding the complaint. This letter was never received by us. We were told a cheque would be sent out within 28 days. But alas nothing came. Rang the helpline 2 weeks later to be apologised to and told cheque would be with us by the 30 th November as the award had to be recalculated. As of yesterday STILL no cheque.. rang yesterday to be told off for ringing!!!!!!!!.that the claim was with the recalculations department, on requesting to speak to them was told that i would not be allowed to. We have a running loan at present which is still with ppi on even though it should have been stopped. We have been told that the loan will need to be restructured but on checking account it hasnt been as yet. We were promised this money for christmas but dont believe it will be with us by then. We feel like cancelling the loan direct debit for next month and see how quickly they contact us for payment....
