LloydsTSB PPI Payment

Hi all,
Please see an updated news story we've written, mainly thanks to the comments on the forum + the help we've had from Esoog.
Guy, many thanks for the story.....
BUT;While Lloyds insists it has cleared some of the backlog, it says the extra delay largely affects those who have yet to pay off the loan the PPI was attached to.
It says once PPI is removed, the loans need to be restructured, which creates extra complications.
We may have a current loan, but it has NEVER had PPI. More lies from Lloyds. Shock Horror. !! I wonder how many of us, the "largely affected", have no loan/a current loan without ppi?
oddzies, I'd hardly call paying people that have made claims in November WHILST NOT PAYING THOSE WITH CLAIMS FROM AUGUST/SEPTEMBER as "making in-roads", I honestly feel disgusted (nothing personal) that you have bee paid before us. WE SHOULD BE A PRIORITY0 -
THANK-YOU everyone on here without you we would never have considered claiming, but, I have to agree we're the lucky ones as ours was only 12 weeks from beginning to end. Nothing excuses Lloyds behaviour though they have caused misery to so many of us and, for some still doing it.0

No distress caused, only lloyds do that! But I just want to make people aware they aren't really making any in-roads at all. It's ridiculous that if we had made a claim at the start of last month, instead of at the start of August - we'd have the money by now? How is that logical, fair or right? Made worse by continued excuses from Lloyds
Enjoy your money!0 -
I can't understand why we've been compensated and others that we've followed have n't. I guess like I said we're the lucky ones. I've been following you all for weeks and I'm just so sorry I've caused upset today PLEASE forgive me.0

Hi Everyone! We had ours back today via BACS so it's Magic Friday for us too. It looks like Lloyds are really starting to make in-roads in to these claims now.
Stay strong people it'll all come right in the end.
I'll keep watching the forums daily as I've become quite well acquainted with you ALL, and I look forward to reading your own success stories soon.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY 2012 TO YOU ALL.
Great News, congratulations. Yep looks like they are starting to move (hope I'm not speaking too soon):j0 -

My open loan was in fact re-structure 1 week after my offer letter (8th Sept - loan re-structured letter 16th Sept) but still not paid out! so again more excuses and stalling tactics.0 -
Do you know what, we've been with them over 30 years and I've never thought they'd do this to people. It makes my blood boil when things should be done fairly in this case in order of date, how can people like yourselves be kept waiting. It's not fair to the people who are relying on this money to give their families Christmas to remember not forget.0
