Lloyds are paying newer complainees sooner, I didn't realise this, that's disgusting. I've read quite a few posts on here and have seen that many were waiting a very long time, but I thought Lloyds had bucked up their ideas, obvs not.
Does anyone know if Watchdog have looked into or are looking in Lloyds?

The FSA / courts issued timescales ruling on dealing with PPI complaints in May by which Lloyds are bound even though they ceased fighting the court case.

    These timescales are:
Complaints received before 31/8/11 16 weeks from receipt of complaint to issue of final response letter
Complaints received between 1/9 and 31/12/11 12 weeks
Complaints after 31/12/11 8 weeks as per normal complaint timescales.
This shortening of timescales creates several weeks of overlap.
Payout after letter is not covered precisely by regulations, just that it should be in a timely manner.
This may account for some waiting less time than others when they complained later. Not making excuses for Lloyds, just offering an idea.

Hi, newbie here. Thought i'd post my experience of reclaiming PPI for Lloyds.

Lloyds credit card - Registered complaint Aug 5th
    Acknowledgment letter rec'd Aug 8th
Offer letter dated Nov 10th/rec'd Nov 12th
£1048.88 paid into account Nov 18th

    Lloyds loans x 4 - Registered complaint Aug 5th
Acknowledgment letter dated Sept 21st/rec'd to me Sept 23rd
Offer letter dated Nov 10th/rec'd Nov 17th
£8698.62 paid into account Dec 2nd

I'm still awaiting to hear on another credit card from Lloyds, which as been a bit of a battle, as each phone call has resulted in different answer. First of all they put on the letter to me they were looking into it, then I was told on the phone that this credit card number did not exist, even though I have statements, then told on another phonecall that its being looked into. The 16 weeks has now expired so am going to chase up again next week.

However, I first complained to Lloyds back in May, but when 12 weeks had passed I rang them to see what was going on, to be told that nothing had been done as there wasn't any record of me complaining. I gave the name of the guy I spoke to and funnily enough, they didn't know of anyone with that name who worked there, shocking eh!!

I'm also awaiting a response from the FOS regarding a Capital One credit card and Freemans catalogue. I approached each of them but both turned me down, so gave it to the FOS to deal with. Trouble is, it could take up to a year, but that's fine, just knowing that they're getting looked into will do me for now.

Anyway it looks like Lloyds is perhaps speeding up now, so fingers crossed for everyone who is still waiting and I hope you all get your money soon.

I wondered Ernij what was the date of the interest payment calculated up to?? I have had my confirmation letters both dated 22nd Nov so im about 12 days behind this, hopefully they will pay me before there quoted interest dat of the 13th Dec.

Just think, if we had held off putting in our claim until the start of last month we'd have been paid by now? It's a scandal.

Payout after letter is not covered precisely by regulations, just that it should be in a timely manner.

Our letter was in August, today is 2nd Dec. That's not what I would call "timely" :o

Hi Everyone! We had ours back today via BACS so it's Magic Friday for us too. It looks like Lloyds are really starting to make in-roads in to these claims now.

Stay strong people it'll all come right in the end.
