LloydsTSB PPI Payment

The sooner people realise that there is no system in place, and that there are no spreadsheets, and that there is no pecking order when it comes to processing payments, the better everyone will be.
Its the giving of false hope that is so odious about LTSB's actions, and its that that has caused so much resentment and ill-feeling. The whole 'cheque is in the post' routine is grubby and negligent at best, and devious, manipulative and fraudulent at its worst.
The best way of exposing this is through the press, especially when LTSB has adopted such a 'couldn't care less' approach to remedying these complaints to its customers. Maybe if its potential big important commercial clients see that they couldn't run a bath never mind a bank, they might get their act together over us small unimportant individuals...0 -
I've tried emailing about 5 different people. They don't respond to me =( I'll try him again. Thanks Sam. It just sounds like they've lost my money now, it's ridiculous. Either that or they've lied to both myself and my MP.
Just sent Ian an email telling him I have lost all faith in Andrea and asking where my refund is.
Update:
He replied really quickly and will get back to me tomorrow *fingers crossed*0 -
Have emailed Laura at the times! Just worked out its a grand total of 353 days since we put in our claim and 91 since we received our offer letter!!!
Would be interesting to hear if anyone else has a longer time scale than us!0 -
well if he's as good as he was helping me you'll have your refund any day nowDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I suspect Kerri will get paid very soon, her story - complete with letter to MP signed by Chief liar Andrea with actual dates on - does not bode well for Lloyds! However even if she does get paid this week, it's still a good case study, perhaps made even better by the fact she had to threaten to go the the papers/email Hallet about her MP letter etc to get paid?!
What did Hallet get back to you with? A generic response or a personal one? Might be worth a shot, I'm sick of "waiting my turn" now.0 -
Since offer letter:
Working day No:86
Week No:17
Many phone calls
Many E-Mails
Still nothing:mad::mad::mad:He who asks is a fool for five minutes, He who does not ask is a fool for life.0 -
OK, so according to chappy on the phone I have a note on my account that I am to be paid by the end of the week. Asked for a reference for this, was told the calls are recorded and that would be enough to trace back... He was adamant (not THE Adam Ant!) that this is money in the bank, not money actioned to be paid. Bold claims sonny, and quite the opposite to how the conversation started with the usual 'can't tell you any timescales' blah blah blah.
So more waiting. But from experience we all know this is likely to either be a pack of lies, yet again. OR for payments to happen by the end of the week there may well be a flurry of activity on Tuesday night, with results seen on Wednesday morning. Its seems like if your payment is not there on a Wednesday you quickly roll round to another week lost.
So they'll get a gentle reminder of what was said Thursday if nothing received and then if payment is not made in full by the end of Friday I will be issuing my small claims court papers with immediate effect.0 -
received aletter advising me that LTSB have noticed that they havent sent me my payment yet !!!!
no S**T !!!!! :mad::mad::mad:
I've noticed this too when I wait for the postman and check my online banking twice a day
Can you please stop sending me pointless letters and send the bloody cheque !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

Working day 81 in the Lloyds refund fiasco and Kerri is still awaiting the £1937 that was apparently paid on the 22nd.... which they told her MP.... still waiting Lloyds!
On a side note.... I paid actual Twister on Saturday, to my disappointment I ended up with both hands on coloured circles which makes it pretty much impossible to drink at the same time grrr.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
