  • letter arrived in the post today - apologies for the delay we noticed we have not paid you any money. No sheet sherlock, thanks for that.
I'd noticed too hence the various calls, emails and MP involvement.

Hmm, we'd probably be "happy" with that letter, or even one of these mythical recalculations letter; at least that way it show's they're still at least thinking about you. We've had nothing since 1st calc letter in early September
  • I see your point about at least they acknowledge that they have not paid and do owe me the money - however its just not on.

I have been expecting a letter from them with recalcs, and the call centre have been saying that its quite likely the funds will have arrived at or around the same time. To receive this 'update' letter is pretty insulting given the extensive communication I have had with them over the phone, email and via my MP.
Still if it comes to taking them to court I guess the letter could be useful then.

48 working days and counting, has anyone seen their money recently as it would be good to hear some positive news, not more delaying updates - have you actually seen your money from lloyds and if so what are your dates?

This is the first formal letter from Lloyds since my original calcs letter dated 21st September, which is a disgrace by anyones standards...

So you've not had the recalcs letter either? This is just very strange, obviously we're not on their christmas card list/or they're just not bothered they haven't paid us!

    For sure
  • No, no recalcs letter. The original offer letter has detailed calcs included and interest to around the 20th October (should have spotted this was indicating a looooong delay...)

When I saw the letter on Sat morning I presumed it would be the re-calculations, but alas no.
Last time I spoke to them, they had said the re-calcs letter would be sent out but as its 10 working days for their business 2nd class post there would be a delay, hence you might have the money before hand or around the same time.

That 10 days I think is up on this Wednesday.
Yes its the end of the month, yes its Wednesday when money seems to move and some get paid. Am I hopeful I'm going to get paid finally from this sham of a business? I'd like to say yes to that too.

Either way, copy of latest letter will go to my MP today to keep them in the loop.

I want to phone Lloyds to quiz them out about a proper update but it frankly a waste of time as you can't speak to anyone who either knows what is going on or is prepared to fess up and actually be straight with you.

The question is do I wait until Wednesday for more disappointment, or do my Money Claim Online (small claims) today and sleep better knowing I've sent them something they can't ignore and will get a result? I think I know the answer to this already and I'll be kicking myself for not doing it a month ago...

No Money. No Letter. No Help from Lying Total Scum Bags

And the guy on the phone attempted to insult us all by insisting that the complaints were being dealt with in date order? What a joke.
  • I want to phone, but end up just getting tied in a knot and not making progress.

Maybe just one last time for old times sakes ;-)

For anyone about to enter this process I'd suggest recording the calls (and telling them you're doing this) just so you have a record, I wish I had copies of the calls I have made to them over the past couple of months. Seems a bit unfair that they record calls for their own purposes...
  • Still no money on 51 working days now :mad:
will be ringing them later for this weeks fairy story. No reply to my emails i sent on the 18/11.
  • Offer letter was received on 12th Septemeber.

No payment and no re-calc letter.

Was told nearly 2 weeks ago i was put on the magical spreadsheet with the " Payment Team "

My complaint would be re-calculated as the interest was originally up to the 5th October. ( This has long gone! ) then next stop it would be getting my payment.

A letter would be received shortly apparently.

No letter received and still no payment via BACS. Awaiting 15k!

I have 3 closed loans and 1 which is currently open but this one has no PPI against it.

really dont understand why mine is taking so bloody long!

    grrrr.

Fed up....i dont understand any of Lloyds logic behind paying people back.

    It really does suck eggs.
  • 78 days and still waiting.

Getting on for the BIG FAT 80!

    :(
