Well, the previous comment does give me hope - this is my first post, although I have been following this post - and glad people are still managing to stay positive
Well, I used to work as a temp for RBS just before the court judgement saying they have to pay it back, in debt recovery (not a nice job - i was young and needed the money) anyway I know from personal experience if you get the right person they might go that extra mile for you and speed things up - I used to be like that and often when older RBS colleagues said "no" I found a way to have debt written off or charges waved.... So I am really hoping karma gets back to me and helps us get this moner off them.
I sent the letter on the 27th of june, got the aknowledgement letter dated the 12tth of July and got our offer dated 7th of October. ok, so far so good, but now we are waiting on the money, my partner (its all in his name) still has a loan with then, everytime we call we get told something else and have a minimum waiting time of 20mins, he's threatened to change banks etc but they keep giving him the same excuses everyone else gets, we've logged a complaint with Watchdog, and we were told yesterday that the lady we spoke to would pass it on to her manager to be recalculated and we've to check his current account as it will be put in there! I wont moan about the desperate situation we are in, as i think most of us are in the same boat and dont only need the money to have a christmas but also have creditors impatiently waiting!
On top of all else think they miscalculated but we are in such a desperate situation that we need the money more than we have time to dispute it!
I can only hope each and every oneo f us gets through to that someone who will go the extra mile and genuinly speed things up - there are few and far between0 -
Just checked my online banking and guess what!!??
No payment!
Offer letter 12th September.....75 days and still waiting.
Sooooooo annoying.0 -
Checked my bank this morning.. surprise surprise. No refund.
Calculation Letter 23rd August! 91 DAYS!!!
*sigh*0 -
Just called the FOS and spoke to a lovely lady - however she told mear as far as they are aware it takes at least 3 months from the offer letter till people have their money - she said there is nothing you can do other than complain through them or to to the bank in writing which will just make the whole process take even longer!
I understand theys have a lot of complaints, but it its their thieving faults in the first place, If I dont pay 100 people money I owe them they won't take "sorry there are too many people complaining" as an excuse to wait a few months for the money I owe them!0 -
If its not here my next week I will take to the streets and start protesting outside our local branch with my baby son and complain how he has no christmas but I bet the bankers kids will be cosy and spoilt rotten - keep an eye out for me in the papers!0

Just double checked my account, still no payment. Very pleased to hear though that some people do seem to be getting paid, but its increasingly frustrating to see that they are more recent claims/offer letters from the month after mine.
Why can't Lloyds do the decent thing and at least sort this out in date order?
My offer letter is 21st September - 45+ working days

alkeir there is no need to shout!
I've just sent an email to Andrea telling her that I am fully prepared to take her to court unless they pay me soon. I'm fed up, it's been 15 weeks since the first calculations letter and I feel penalised for going to my MP because they only calculated the interest up until the date they sent the revised calculations letter.

Well, here we are on day 9 of the 10 working days it will take "the team" to respond to an email a customer service adviser sent to them saying we had NO MONEY NO RECALCULATIONS LETTER AND NO HELP FROM LYING TOTAL SCUM BAGS guess what? NO RESPONSE.
So, guess what they advise now? A "team leader" will chase it up CALL BACK IN ANOTHER TEN DAYS to find out the result. Which will no doubt be; "no response, call back in ten days"
Totally, totally !!!!ing useless.

The somewhat smug workers at the PPI dept wouldn't find it so funny to wait the same amount of time as we all have in order to get paid their wage would they.
Felt physically sick walking past my local Lloyds branch on the way to work this morning.0 -

I've checked my account and no refund, no further calculation letter since mine invalidated straight away, and no reply as yet to my threat of court action.
