LloydsTSB PPI Payment

Well still no payment, although I was told the BACS payment funds would take four days to clear for payment, Are Lloyds TSB overdrawn then? I hope they charge theirselves for an unauthorised overdraft !!!:rotfl:
Well still no payment and local branch said no sign that any is pending even though I was told that it was put in motion on the 16 November and would take up to 4 working days via BACS to reach my account so more lies. When I had my upheld/offer letter sent 22 August I was told I would be paid shortly, The Calculation letter I was eventualy sent (They lost the first) dated 20 October only had interest calc to 13 October. I have not had an updated calc letter since.0 -

My shortly and their shortly are completely different.
I view shortly as in "it's going through BACs up to 5 working days".... apparently their version with me is 15 weeks and counting. I'm really angry about it this evening.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Reading that Daily Mail article has just fuelled my anger. What a load of b*ll*cks! :mad:0

"A Lloyds TSB spokesman says: ‘We apologise for any delays.
‘We are processing all PPI compensation payments within a reasonable turnaround time. However, we have encountered a one-off processing issue which has delayed payments for a group of customers with a Lloyds TSB loan. That backlog has now been cleared and 80 per cent of customers affected have received their full payment.’"
You total lying scum bag. You do not apologise for the delays, just continue to engineer them for financial gain. Can that 80% quote be backed up?, I doubt it.
45+ working days since offer letter with calculations and now at breaking point...0 -

I really sympathise kerri. Ive been following your story anda others here and on the halifax thread as we've been waiting on a halifax payout since the end of aug.
Ive decided they really have no idea what is happening.
We were told yesterday by one dept that our claim was still with the calculations dept. Today we were told at 5:45 that a message was on our file that due to the delay in our claim being paid that we had been marked as high priority with a commitment to payout by 15th dec at the latest. Ten minutes later my husband called and he was told that a cheque had been issued on 18th nov and to call back onmonday if we havent received it. Total madness and total confusion on their part.
The final insult is that the amount quoted is well under what we had reckoned it should be. We will have to wait to see the calculations when, and if they arrive :beer:
And just for the laugh someone from halifax phoned half an hour later offering us a balance transfer on our credit card!!:mad:
Its enough to put us around the twist, or start playing twister!! I have to say your posts over the last day or so have been the only thing making me smile!!! Thanks for that!!
So you are not alone in this , theres a lot of us cracking up. I really hope Lloyds/Halifax get fined for the way they have treated us in this. Good luck, i hope you get yours soon, and in the meantime, i look forward to seeing what tomorrows game is!!!Mary B0 -
Do I sit up until midnight to check my online banking again or does it look like the few payments that have been made in the last couple of weeks only happen on a Wednesday morning?0
-
No harm in checking, apart from of course being taken one click nearer the brink of insanity... Wednesday did seem to be the big day, but I think anything can happen now - who knows maybe the Daily Mail article will warrant some overtime at Lloyds HQ?0
