Doubt it. They don't give a crap.0 -
Absolutely nothing would surprise me as far as LTSB are concerned.... Well apart from getting my money that is0

Been chasing so long and getting so stressed out I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing with myself when the money lands.
Hang on a minute, I know exactly what I'll be doing, closing any dealings with these thieves and moving on!0 -

Ive decided they really have no idea what is happening.
We were told yesterday by one dept that our claim was still with the calculations dept. Today we were told at 5:45 that a message was on our file that due to the delay in our claim being paid that we had been marked as high priority with a commitment to payout by 15th dec at the latest. Ten minutes later my husband called and he was told that a cheque had been issued on 18th nov and to call back onmonday if we havent received it. Total madness and total confusion on their part.
The final insult is that the amount quoted is well under what we had reckoned it should be. We will have to wait to see the calculations when, and if they arrive :beer:
And just for the laugh someone from halifax phoned half an hour later offering us a balance transfer on our credit card!!:mad:
Its enough to put us around the twist, or start playing twister!! I have to say your posts over the last day or so have been the only thing making me smile!!! Thanks for that!!
So you are not alone in this , theres a lot of us cracking up. I really hope Lloyds/Halifax get fined for the way they have treated us in this. Good luck, i hope you get yours soon, and in the meantime, i look forward to seeing what tomorrows game is!!!
I've decided that funny is the way forwards, please feel free to take off your shoes and join in the fun. Tomorrow it's going to be cluedo, guess who gets paid next, by which method and how muchControl_Freak wrote: »Do I sit up until midnight to check my online banking again or does it look like the few payments that have been made in the last couple of weeks only happen on a Wednesday morning?
anyway, marksman stop pushing us over on the twister mat, that's cheating tsk tsk. First he hides the jenga pieces, next he's pushing us over.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Well it's been 73 days since offer letter and still no payment
Seriously fed up now.
I'm just going to forget about this refund adventure and just get on with my life and when it appears in my account il be a happy bunny.
I've done everything I can now and can't be arsed emailing or calling lloyds tsb anymore. Bored of the lies.
It makes me laugh as I work on a government contract and we can send 300,000 + BACS transfers per night and it only takes 2 days to go into accounts.
Lloyds are so unorganised it amazes me.
Congrats to all have been paid and I feel so sorry for all who are still waiting.
One day it will happen.

Thanks Mary, I'm more annoyed that I stupidly spent money on fabric instead of saving it towards my flat deposit thinking "4 months from calc letter, sure lloyds will have paid me by then". Boy was I wrong grrr.

Does anyone else find it strange as to why they seem to also be making quite a few 'split' payments to PPI Victims? I can't see why they wouldn't make a full and final payment unless they were deliberately seeking to hang on to our money for longer.
The whole way these cowboys have carried on is nothing short of criminal. There are clear cases of outright deception during the selling of PPI.... in direct contravention of the 1968 Theft Act and 2006 Fraud Act.... Why are they allowed to get away with it? What really are out legal rights to recouping our losses?
As I've said in previous postings, the best thing people can do is send the message to LTSB, close all accounts and cease any dealings with them once you've got your money. Seeing as the current economic situation is all the bankers (I did mean to type bankers!) in the first place it's time we took back just a little power and showed them what happens when you lie, cheat, deceive, defraud your customers.
Make that pledge now... walk away from LTSB :T0 -

Up early today, first job as always is check Lloyds online. Yes...............looks like on the move, £3400 BACS into current a/c overnight. Think thats the interest on the big payment (12k to come on that plus £1500 smaller payment.)
Maybe we will all be lucky today, overtime might indeed have been worked!!!!!!!!!!!!
Offer letter 9 October recalculations letter 9 November.
Good luck to everyone0 -
As others have said, there appears to be no reasoning as to why they are paying the way the way they are. My offer letters were dated 22nd September and I still haven't received any recalculation letters or any refund yet others who had offer letters dated after mine have.
I cannot be bothered to call Lloyds today having already been told by them that people like me calling them each week (which they consider unacceptable) is causing the backlog.0 -
Sorry for jumping the queue but I was paid yesterday.
Calculations letter 7th October for a loan that was refinanced and is still open.
Good luck to those still waiting.0
