Lovely lady I've just spoken to, I'm rubbish at remembering their names, says I've moved from being doing nothing to the "payment pending" spreadsheet *happy dance*. She also now recognises me as the one that's playing jenga hehehe. So to the lovely lady, if you're reading this then "hello and thank you for telling me something more than 'no timescales'".
Here's hoping it's paid "shortly" pfft. I might actually be able to buy a bed before the end of the Jan salesDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Lol!! I love the fact they are reading this forum!
I am now going to start holding my spud gun against the head of my favourite teddy..... Lloyds, if you are reading this then give me my money or the bear gets it!
Oh, and could one of you call me this evening to explain to my OH why we can't go out to eat tonight for her 30th birthday? Mainly it's due to juggling finances and having expected my cash weeks ago, I tried telling her but I swear she thinks I cashed in some cheques ages ago and spent it all on cheap scotch and other women!!0 -
Hahaha I feel a bit sorry for the call centre staff though, complaints all day long isn't fun when you can't tell any information. It's really frustrating for us when we don't get any news, but I'm always relieved to hear that my claim has made that one little step forwards. So last week it was that my recalcs letter was sent albeit with a interest date of 15th nov grrr, and this weeks update is that I'm on the payment spreadsheet so that's two steps closer in two weeks... good going when I've been on hold for however many weeks.
My advice to anyone else, try whatever tactics you can to get them to progress your claim, no idea if it works but I can't see it harms.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I second that Kerri! I have tried to explain every time I call that I don't hold the operator personally responsible, albeit that they are telling porkies a lot of the time, the fault lies with the management (or mismanagement) who inform the call handlers to lie to us or tell the handlers lies in the first place! I couldn't do their job myself, it's bad enough having the OH shouting at me one on one, working on the PPI "help line" would be like 8 to 10 hours of the missus shouting at me constantly and asking the same question again and again.......and again! Lol0

The pressure just lifts when you can see some cash in the bank, first day for months with no headache..Really should have budgeted a bit better I know, but not a lot I can do about that now. Otherwise will borrow from the parents and wait a little longer. I've stopped being angry now. Who's for a cup of tea?

Andrea was looking into mine last Tuesday and I was put on the payment pending today, so fingers crossed it'll be similar for you

Lets hope so Kerri. Like you said earlier I'm starting to feel sorry for the guys taking our calls, I would hate to work there at the moment

Well just made my regular call to the "unhelpful customer we don't care line" to find out the status of my claim! Despite having an offer letter on 8th September and follow up letter on 16th September saying that unpaid PPI subscription had been credited to my loan account guess what - IT HASN'T.
I spoke to a really pleasant lady who took some time in going through the claim and letters and admitted that the length of time waiting for payout was very poor and that she would then escalate this to the management team and refunds department and chase the payment. Something that has not been said to me before which I stated in the call and she apologised for that. I know others on the forum have spoken about a spreadsheet of claims that had been pending for a long time and I wonder if they were paid out after going on this spreadsheet! So I won't hold my breath.
I must admit after going from pleasant through reasonable to angry in my numerous calls to LTSB I have bit the bullet and gone back to being pleasant and nice on the phone in the hope that it might solicit some measure of sympathay and action. We can but hope!:A
Been there done that. They have a 10 working day timescale to respond; they didn't. Now a "team leader" is investigating and they have the mythical 10 working days to do this. I don't feel sorry for ANY of the liars, sorry.0 -
Ah yes the famous spreadsheet - I'm on it, doesn't seem to make any difference. Every action Lloyds say they are implementing is in fact only creating a further delay, letters are 10 days and so on - all of which are further extended as its working days... All nonsense and BS - the solution is simple, just show me the money!0
