    Here's out story...

    Claim put in December 2010
    Offer letter August 2011
    Recalulation letter.. Not received
    Payment... Not received!

Where told 4 weeks ago that cheque would arrive in 7-10 days... No cheque!
Have spent numerous hours on the phone to the most irritating call centre who just don't seem to care.
Just getting so annoyed that people who put claims in this year have been paid. Waiting for £1800. Thought we would be having a nice Xmas but thanks to lloyds this will probably not be the case!!
Am now thinking of writing to my local mp. Has anyone used this route and had any joy??

Has anyone actually receive a payment from Lloyds TSB yet? I received a letter dated 21.10.2011 offering me just over £16,000. I spoken with the adviser and they can't give me a timeframe when I can expect the payment. I am unemployed and in desperate need of the payment. What can I do?

Are there any e-mail addresses of Lloyds where I can contact them. I called the PPI customer Care but they don't even answer their phones anymore.

You could try the MP route but as a pure cynic I think it may depend on if he/she needs your vote:( A number of people have got them on board and it has helped, give it a go Cgray, it beats banging your head against a brick wall with the useless call centre, good luck ;)

  • Spoke to a manager this evening. A total wall of silence was put up but he was very sorry about my delay and 'understands my frustrations' at having to pay my PPI premiums for the last 4 months despite my complaint being upheld.

Despite this, still no info as to when I will have loan restructured or when I will receive money.

    Understands my frustrations my a**e.

Am now going to forget about it. I am not going to get 8% return on my 7 grand anywhere else so I may as well fleece them for everything I can.

Good luck to everyone in getting what's due to you, especially those who badly need it. For me I really can't be bothered listening to all those lies anymore.
  • I'm losing sleep over this now, not least through checking my account after midnight in the hope thats when the magic happens... More chance of turning into a pumpkin though I fear!

It does seem that there have been fewer payouts reported recently, not much activity last week at all, so maybe just maybe there will be something happening soon.

Called in today - last couple of calls have gotten through very quickly and whilst the information is still no clearer with the same old 'by the end of the month' nonsense, the girls on the other end of the line seem to at least be checking against some sort of account record. But it then quickly reverts to the same old lines... no time scales, busy with a backlog yada yada yada. Emails not getting acknowledged on any level at the moment.

Feeling very stressed out about the whole affair really and find it quite unreal.
Next stop is Money Claim Online, but I'm really hoping Lloyds do the decent thing before this last resort.
  • Sorry one other thing, not much talk of going back for bank charges relating to weakend position due to miss-selling of PPI? Hard to dispute I would have thought?
  • This whole thing is just farcical. If we, as LTSB customers, owed then any amount of money and carried on in this manner we'd quickly find bailiffs on the doorstep.... so why are we expected just to put-up with being treated like this. Has anyone looked into setting debt collection companies onto LTSB?? It's as if we have no option but to just accept it and wait, there seems to be no-one able to help!

I got my letter on October 16th and haven't seen a single penny. After daily calls to the wastes of oxygen who man their PPI call centres, I am no clearer on when I can expect payment. I get conflicting stories each time I call... they clearly are misleading in what they are telling customers (IMHO) with little continuity in the excuses.

So I wrote a letter to the CEO of LTSB, CC'd to their Customer Services Manager, Customer Relations Manager & my MP. I sent it recorded delivery to ensure receipt. Although all letters were delivered and signed for, I've had no acknowledgement from anyone at LTSB and only my MP had the decency to respond. It's just another marker of their professionalism.....

So now they are going lose my personal accounts & business account and my daughters have said they will also be leaving LTSB. I know in itself this action means little to this sham bank, however I will feel better knowing that I will never again give them one single penny of my money. I hope all their other disgruntled customers do the same thing and vote with their feet. The other banks will make the process of moving DDs, SOs etc easy.... so do it.... teach them a lesson.

Well said Paulie_Walnut, I think there are a lot of people that will be voting with their feet and rightly so. Lloyds are a rudderless ship and as such their call centres are a waste of time. I personally never thought I had anything to do with Lloyds, how wrong can one be :( I took a loan out with Sainsbury's Bank (Lloyds) that was underwritten by Bank of Scotland (Lloyds) and the PPI was supplied by St Andrews (you've guessed it Lloyds) their tentacles stretch far and wide. Check out the Lloyds Banking Group website and make sure you never deal with any of their other entities.
I have had my complaint upheld and am awaiting a cheque from BOS but part of me says "yeah, believe it when I see it". It is unbelievable that a company can treat it's customers with such contempt, if it is going down the pan as a few, including myself believe, then they deserve it. I just wish they would do one honourable thing and pay back what they stole first.
I will never deal with them personally in future IF INDEED THEY HAVE A FUTURE :(
