  • Well a new one on me today! Apparently my account is with aftercare????

I'm thinking aftercare? I've not been paid a thing yet, I did ask is this a good thing? And was told my account is being looked at today?
We've all heard this but fingers crossed.
    1st complained October 2010
    Uphold letter 4th June 2011
    Offer letter 1st September 2011
I think I've just been unlucky with waiting and be glad when It's finally over and my llodys account is closed forever!
  • Hey all!

Long time lurker here, I thought I'd share my story. It sounds very familiar to Kerri's.

I first submitted my complaint for missold PPI on a loan that I re-financed with Lloyds 4 times back in May this year. I received my calculations and upheld letter on the 23rd of August! 3 months ago!! for nearly 10k

Since then I have not received a recalculations offer at all. I have emailed 3-4 times over the past 2 months but have only ever received 1 what seems like an automated 'We're Sorry for the delay' reply.

I decided to call them today and after speaking to an Advisor they transferred me to BRITISH GAS!! I then had to explain to the lady that a Lloyds TSB employee was to blame. I called the same 01733 number again and eventually was put through to PPI complaints where I was told that they would escalate my claim to a senior member of the team. Unfortunately because of the way this was said to me I don't hold any hope that this is the truth. It was like she was reading a script to me.

I asked the Advisor why I have not received a calculations letter and she informed me that I 'should' next week and then the payment 'should' follow after that.

    Ridiculous!

I'm so surprised that this has not featured on Watchdog yet. It seems like some Lloyds customers are being completely forgotten about.

I also have a 'theory' that they have put Lloyds customers into categories depending on how much current debt that have with them and taking longer to pay them back. I have a large 3k overdraft and 2.5k on a credit card and once I have my PPI money back this will be the first thing I will be paying off. It could be possible that this would be a way for them to recoup some of the money that they are paying out?? What do you guys think?

Good theory.Makes sense to me. I`m in the same boat. Still got loans & overdrafts with them, which now,in hindsite, are debts they forced me into. The longer they keep us in any debt, the more they can claw back. Makes you feel like you`re being punished for having the audacity to reclaim what they scammed from us in the first place.

I phoned once again today after speaking to an account manager on the 14 th Nov who had promised to e-mail the payments dept to get my payment speeded up.

Was told that my payment was made on 15/16 Nov, I have a feeling that they are telling me more lies as I have checked my Lloyds account but its still not there.

Any Ideas anyone? if it has been paid surely it should show by now?

Well still no payment, although I was told the BACS payment funds would take four days to clear for payment, Are Lloyds TSB overdrawn then? I hope they charge theirselves for an unauthorised overdraft !!!:rotfl:
  • Been following the pages daily whilst waiting for payment, just like everyone else here...

Claim letter sent - June 2011
    Offer letter received - 21st September 2011
Interest calculated up to - 20th October 2011
    Recalculations letter - NOT RECEIVED
    Payment - NOT RECEIVED

Emails and calls each week since offer letter received
No loan restructure on open loan (the one I intend to pay off with my returned money)
Been bumped onto the famous spreadsheet
FOS and FSA contacted, little use other than advice
Local MP contacted and currently chasing on my behalf
Payment due to be transferred into Lloyds current account.

    NO MONEY!
  • Is there no UK equivalent of a class action or something we can use against Lloyds? Something that a large group of disgruntled customers can do? Seems like a lot of complaining and not a single thing that can be done about it. I know a lot of people will be closing there accounts (me included) but Lloyds clearly don't give a toss about that.
