  • Some progress from me today. Just received the interest on the PPI payments today (£1,837.87) paid straight into my bank account, 27 days after the offer letter from Lloyds.

Because the loan is an existing one the actual refund of the premiums is sent to the Loans Department, who then cancel the PPI and restructure the loan then transfer the full refund of premiums (£7,018.95) into my regular account. They don't use the refund of premiums to pay off the loan, so this seems a somewhat needless step, but progress is progress! Apparently the restructuring of the loan and the final refund of premiums paid can take up to 21 days.

I apologise my words were merely frustration and the predicament i found my self in at the moment. I apologise to all i didnt mean to cause any offence. I feel so powerless, so frustrated. this money would help keep my head above water until the new year.
No apology needed, you must be in a state over your job loss and i hope you find something soon.
The regulators wont do anything about this, but then you wouldnt bite the hand that feeds you would you? they are all hand in hand and the little people dont count.
Stop trying to get answers from the bank, you will just more angry and trust me,this will affect your health, you need to focus on finding a job and dont give the bank another thought, otherwise it is only you that will suffer, the banks wont and they dont care about you,so you care about yourself xx.
