Can anyone please advise me on security. My system is Windows XP.
At present I have installed free versions of:
PC Tools Firewall Plus
Superantispyware
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Spybot Search and Destroy
Ad-Aware Anniversary Edition
Avira Anti Virus
CCleaner
Do I have a good combination, too much, too little?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Ive no problems with that wearside
I might get rid of adaware as its a little overkill
Dont forget to use Spybots IMMUNISE feature:idea:0 -
Do you have Threatfire with the PCTools Firewall Plus?
My personal opinion would be to get rid of Spybot SD. The new Ad Aware has improved feactures over previous versions. Everything seems fine.0 -
I have had a look for Threatfire but cannot find it.
Can you please point me in the right direction:D

When you install PCTOOLS FIREWALL (If recently), THREATFIRE can be installed with it (But you dont have to)
IF you have it ~ it looks like an 'orange flame' in the bottom right panel
If you dont you can always install separately

Threatfire IMO is worth having but up to you.0

I shall read up on Threatfire and decide if it is worth having it or not.
Thanks for both of your help and advice. To Dare is To Do:beer:0
