What Security do you use?

Ive still not seen any sites that have tested the comodo suite ~ so on that basis alone id never recommend it

Id recommend AVIRA anti virus (Always does VERY well in the virus definitions test), PCTOOLS Firewall (User friendly)

And scan weekly with MALWAREBYTES and SUPERANTISPYWARE

Mcafee is a (very poor) all in one

Comodo does parts of the programs

You need at the basics ~ an anti virus program (avira)
Its debatable ~ but I always suggest a firewall too (ESPECIALLY if you dont use a NAT router)

Malwarebytes and Superantispyware seem to always detect SPYWARE (NOT classed as viruses) that other programs miss

Forgeot to add. make sure you use the Mcafee removal tool ~

Otherwise you could hit all sorts of problems

Thanks for the heads up, I will remove McAfee tomorrow and install the firewall and antivirus as well

Plus I will ensure I run the spyware once a week as well, out of the 2 recommended which one is best or should I do both anyway?

Run malwarebytes one week and super the following (Alternating weekly)

As youve been using Mcafee though, id suggest running scans with everything (One after the other) to make sure its clean

If you want to be absolutely sure 'after' running the scans. Start a new thread and post a hijack log ~
Download HIJACK THIS (Top right)

SCAN and post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else but scan and post the log)
