Sadly, Virgin Mobile Pay-As-You-Go customers who pay by direct debit cannot sign up to this offer - seems a bit unfair :mad:0

Do they do any offers just like O2 do? My contract is up in 3 weeks time, so deciding what to do.
Anyone who has had any experience making the "Hi, i want to cancel...2 call please let me know what happened?!!0 -
They didn't offer me anything.Stompa0

Anyone else? Contract ends this week now!0

After my original contract ended in November it reverted to £24 per month for 200 mins & 300 txts.Rang customer services for a better deal and got through to "retentions". Best they could offer was cheapest phone available on Virgin with 200 mins and 200 txts a month with one-off cashback equating to paying approx. £12 a month if I signed up for a further 18 months! Now signed up to O2 Simplicity £15 a month on-line deal with 200 mins & 400 txts keeping my old Samsung D900 from Virgin.Only 30 day notice period and now have £7.50 broadband !Suits me sir !!0

My Virgin contract is nearly finished (£12 pm) and their current deals look pretty rubbish. I've not read much about their retention deals - am I to take it that they aren't much cop?
I'm thinking about going to T-Mobile because I want inclusive net, but I've read a bunch of bad stuff about them - would I be better off sticking with Virgin and skipping the hassle of switching?
I don't use many minutes (maybe 100) and I hardly ever text, but I would use internet if I had it included. I would ideally like a phone with wifi also.
Any advice would be great!0 -
I just left t-mobile and went to virgin as the t-mobile retention deals were rubbish. Virgin seemed to offer the best value for me but I seem to be a heavier user than you, just check all the hidden costs before you commit, t-mobile are now charging for voicemail which could rack up quite a lot if you aren't always able to answer your calls. You really need to do your homework with these companies as it's an expensive mistake if you choose the wrong tariff or a phone you don't get on with as I've found out to my cost in the past! Good Luck.0

Thanks!
Virgin don't offer internet for less than 18 you see, and I don't use enough talk-time to make that a worthwhile tariff...0 -
Have you had a look at 3? They have deals including unlimited internet for £15 pm.
Do you need a phone? Because if not, you'll probably be able to get a much better deal on a SIM only contract.0 -
my contract is due to end soon and was wondering if anyones tried virgin mobile retentions? also has anyone got any deals on the HTC phones through virgin?0
