Mollymauk -which £10 a month offer do you mean?

If you are refering to the offer in conjucntion with Virgin Media then it's no good to me as we cannot have cable in our street.

Sorry I didn't make it clear on my original post, the 600 minutes are on mix and match 300 (includes 300 3 to 3 minutes). Both the in-laws are on 3 so it's an ideal tariff for them.

I have been with Virgin Mobile since 2003 and never had any problems with them. They were very good when I recently bought a new phone and let me have 2 x 200 free minutes - I kept my number too. I think they're good plus I have gotten a wierd 'contract' pay as you go but by direct debit - this is handy as I can then have roaming abroad.

oh ok... i thought that one was only a 6 month deal. only just spotted the 6 month version on cpw...

i've never been much of a dancer, so i wouldn't dream of trying out the e2save cashback quickstep any longer...

Don't understand the 6 month bit - that IS the one I was referring to - it's been on there for some time now. I have a 12 month contract which is different, comes with a phone and was free.

i did it for a few years with several companies and never got tripped up (apart from forward cellular going bust grumble mutter) but my favourite e2save's T&Cs now are so ridiculously punitive and restrictive i don't think i can be bothered any longer. i'll stick with the retentions rumba for now

having said that, who would you recommend these days? anyone? i love your apocalyptic musings about cashback in all the various threads, but i'd love to know if there's anyone you'd trust.

ah, got you. sorry, my mistake. i thought you'd got a 12 month sim only deal with preferential cashback terms like the cpw one...

Trust??? No-one. Dialaphone have the best reputation now as far as I can tell, but since they offer lousy deals I've never used them.

cpw is still the "safest" game in town - but now it IS a game and not only are their t&c "ridiculously punitive and restrictive " but they aren't actually following them anyway. Get one thing wrong and you lose the lot. I will still use them but only because I know how they work and can generally set things up well enough - plus I will sue if required.
