Usually the family will give an indication as to whether colours are acceptable to wear for the funeral. I've known people turn up at funerals in clours and the family be offended and other families request no black. Is there someone close, but not too close, to the family you could call tonight and find out the protocol. Personally I prefer to wear full black for funerals. Whatever you wear I hope all goes well tomorrow.HTH

This is a difficult one, she was my cousin so a close part of the family but due to the tragic accident her mother has had to stay abroad where the accident happened to be by her husband and the other daughters bedside who are still in hospital so I have had no idea on what will be the right or wrong thing to wear:confused: I guess I am going to wear a black suit with a cream blouse type top I cant go wrong then.

    Thanks for the advice

Sorry Crazychic - blame the addiction to MSE and the headache. I do get senior moments. I am now 56 you know (on Xmas Day) so I think almost late 50s rather than mid 50s or can I get away with it!! Hope DLB will fill you in with pm I sent! I am definately in a quandry! I seem to have upset some wonderful people over the last few days judging from pms - not you honest! Suffice to say it is not you daily multiple posters! Does that help?
    Love, hugs and night night!

I think I am going to be on here all night :( DD is now downstairs on the sofa and the rash has spread a bit. It's gone up her chin and down to her elbows and there seems to be more on her face. The doctor said to keep an eye on her mouth and throat as then she could stop breathing. I don't think I'm going to get a wink of sleep, luckily DH has said he will come home tomorrow morning and stay up with her instead of going to bed so that I can still take my parents shopping.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
