    Hi all

Have just skimmed. Crazychic - your are supposed to be on the sofa for a cuddle. Re difficult children. A bit of ignoring, a lot of reinforcing with the ground rules from birth like manners, standards etc. I still remember being sooooooooo awful because I gave DD a biff round the head when whe was 11 because she wound me up so much! We have subsequently spoken about it and we both accept (a) I shouldn't havelost the plot and (b) she totally went OTT re pushing buttons - over an icecream for heaven's sake!

LOL, sorry I have been missing in action for the evening. I had to go to hospital with DD, however we are home again now and she is safely tucked up in bed, although no doubt I will not sleep with worry tonight and will keep going in every 10 minutes to check on her :( I'm such a worry guts when they're not well. Will post on the Flylady thread in a little while though.

I have a day away from school today, I was on a course. Interesting day but I wonder how uesful it will be. Looking forward to trying a few things though.

After 25 years DH has decided we should move. I've wanted to for about 20 years but now he has to convince me. I said I would only move to a newish bungalow with a cattery and at least 1/2 an acre costing a bit less than our house so we don't use capital, thinking really this was a bit unlikely. Well today after looking for 10 days he found one! A seven year old, four bedroom bungalow set in 2/3 acre with planning permission for 24 cats and on the market for £5,000 less than our was valued at on Tuesday. It's two mile from our house. I couldn't believe it and now I'm geting cold feet. Not because I couldn't run a cattery, I have experience, but because of all the other life changes it could mean.

Anyway we view on Saturday but before that he has to have his bone scan which we are worried about. Half of me wonders if he's setting things up for me if all's not going right but I'm not 'going there' until we know.

For those of you who are at home with children, make the most of it no matter how hard it is - time goes too quick, they will soon be gone to uni and the house will be too quiet.

My DD might make the odd post for me

looby-loo you go for it. It's no point looking back and thinking what if? We only regret the things we didn't do when life has gone it's distance.

Thanks Cat, she is as red as a lobster from eyebrows to waist. I had to use some Ace bleach on her brothers shirts last week and then they went in with all the rest of the whites. I think it's her vests that are causing the trouble so DH has been down and got Fairy non-bio and I have re-washed everything of hers that is white!

This is second post I thinks maybe site acting up so apologies in adance to multiple posting. I have just clocked that happened - sorry! Hope DD OK. I know, I never slept right when my lot were wee and not well. You definately have to have the ear open! I sometimes slept with them just to make sure i was alert if a problem.

A confession - I sleep with DGSs when here as I am so worried I won't hear them through the monitor. DH never complained - he knows I need to do this more than we did with our two!

(((hugs))) to moggins dd - hope she feels better soon xxx

Wow lucky you looby-loo, I would love that sort of challenge! I love cats. Go for it, nothing ventured - nothing gained

Grannybroon - I think it was DLB who had intensions of sum loving n cuddles later with hubby on the sofa. My sofa is that small, it wont fit me & OH on together

:wall: After my post this morning ref DS school was closed due to the boiler breaking down, and we've got to listen to the local radio in the morning to see if its re-opened! And I said I dont have a radio - well - only for the last 18 months or so, there has been a silver stereo sitting at the side of my bed. In view when I get up, and when I go to bed! Totally forgot it was there & it works also. It took me nearly 10 mins to figure how to switch the darn thing on, then I realised I'd not plugged it in  Gawd Give Me Strength!!
