Hi all and welcome to returning potters and newbies.
Wellwent to @sd@ earlier and when checking my receipt noticed that they had charged me £2.25 for my strawberries and the sign said £2. Went to CSD and they checked and gave me the 25p difference. I said to the lady
"I know it is only 25p, but when you are watching the pennies they all count."
She agreed with me and gave me the money.
So potting £10.25p today.
Have a great evening everyone.
P.S Sparky, have a fantastic time in NYC if I forget to do it before Thurs.
Love
Mof3

Anyway he's back on shift for 4 days so it's mine all mine :T (for the time being anyway :rotfl:). I'm glad to see you're back too Sue, and that you're feeling better.
Oh, you've got a PC hugger then, Kerfuffle, that'll never do...so, good for you in arranging those 4 days off....for you! :rotfl: I'm fine now thanks, Kerf. Love to you both and to Canada!scotmumof3 wrote:Don't think my DH will every get used to me swooping down on a penny and DD who is 16 just walks away and pretends she doesn't know me:rotfl:
Ahh they'll change one day (when you're not looking), scotmumof3, I bet they'd soon swoop for a £5er..different story then eh, but pennies make £s.
ooooh you are so very fortunate, sparks!
VERY well done on a great car boot of £92, samtoby!! :T
Keep at it, Palema!
Very well spotted, Mof3!!! :T If we don't take care of us no one else will.****Enjoy a relaxing evening everyone and keep warm and toasty. ****

Thank you Sue-UU!
Just got back from the weekly shop and had 4.67 left over from the budget, so that's gone in the pot.
Normally I pay by card and the extra seems to get swallowed up but I'll be paying by cash in future so I can see the benefits at the end of the year!
I'm already saving £1 a day for christmas, which should be more than enough as no kids to buy for and always go to my parents for lunch etc, so I'm thinking this will be a nice extra amount into my general savings!Sealed pot challenge #17850 -
