    Thank you Sue-UU!

Just got back from the weekly shop and had 4.67 left over from the budget, so that's gone in the pot.
Normally I pay by card and the extra seems to get swallowed up but I'll be paying by cash in future so I can see the benefits at the end of the year!

I'm already saving £1 a day for christmas, which should be more than enough as no kids to buy for and always go to my parents for lunch etc, so I'm thinking this will be a nice extra amount into my general savings!

You're welcome, Emily88. You've made a terrific start and it's good to hear you're going to deal in cash so saving will be far more possible. Look ahead to a lovely sum!

Still potting but had to 'borrow' some of it today as we needed food :(
Will pay it back Sue, I promise xx

I know you will, e4rub, good to see you, though sorry it's at bad times. I hope thngs look up soon.

Payday tomorrow, and left in my purse today was the grand sum of £15.15p, so that is going straight in the pot too!

Rather impressed with that as it's been a very tight week.

Brilliant savings, Delilahh! Just goes to show what can be done..well at the end of the week at least, easier then to be able to look ahead to cash coming in. Well done!
I'm off to bed. Sleep well folks and wake to a great day!

Morning all... Sorry for not being about so much these last couple of weeks, it's all been a bit hectic here at times. I'm still potting what I can, but it's been a bit slow for Feb as my pennies are being spent on Sons upcoming 18th this Friday! EEEEK!! I'm hoping to be able to get back to potting all my spare coinage once this weekend is done. lol.. Think I've managed to pot about £6.00 over the last couple of weeks, so there is still a little going in, but not as much as I'd like. But, you're only 18 once, so I'm making the most of spoiling him...

Hope everyone is doing well. Hope to be able to pop on more frequently from next week.

    Take care all. xx

Oooooo such a tease Mr Sparky, hope its better than the 'surprise' brown envelopes my DH gives me . . . they always contain his credit card bill, the surprise part being the purchases on it I know nothing about :o

  • Hi all,

    Another £2.85 into my pot.

WOW, a lot happening here. Sparky0107, you now have me hopping as to what is in the brown envelope. DW will love it, I am sure.

JJ, all the best with the birthday preparations. I also recently had an 18th in the family. Daughter had a great time. It was worth every penny.

    Hugs to everyone,
    Susanne
