    Afternoon all
Just been approached by friend in work who asked me if I would like some change, "because you collect it, don't you?" :)

    Well the change turned out to be 1 X £2 coin, 18 X 50p's & 20 X 20p's :T

So that's £11 going into the Chicago & New York 2013 spending fund & £5 of 20p's plus my daily £2 going into the sealed pot. I also have 8p tea room change to go into the road change pot :j

    Hi!

Been a member for a while but mainly lurking, so this is my first post (I think!)

    Can I join in please? I know I'm a bit late :o

I've had a change pot for ages that I don't really add to regularly, just counted it up and have £14.88 to start me off with!

I'm hoping this challenge will motivate me to add to the pot regularly and not lose all my change down the back of the sofa!

Not really got a target, just hoping for a nice surprise at the end of the year :D

EDIT: oops, not my first post! Can't remember the last time I was on here! lol

Isn't it amazing how finding 2p can make us soooo happy:D. My DH is still convinced I'm a complete nutter but I don't care every penny some poor unwitting fool drops is a penny waiting to be dropped into MY pot so bring it on :D:DXX

Yes my DH gives me rolled eyes everytime I squeal 'ROADKILL!!!!!' (im not very subtle, can you tell? :D) I see it as every penny I pick up is another penny someone else worked for to pay off my debt :D and for that I thank them profusely :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi Kerfuffle :hello: so good to see you back, I started to wonder if you'd wandered off into the Rockies or had snow problems again. Not bad savings!

Not long til your DW's GREAT surprise now then, sparky!!!!!!;)

Hi Sue, Unfortunately I can't say that I've been a-wandering, I'm still here, it just seems that whenever I log onto the computer hubby suddenly needs it :(. Anyway he's back on shift for 4 days so it's mine all mine :T (for the time being anyway :rotfl:). I'm glad to see you're back too Sue, and that you're feeling better.

Sparky, I'm going to wish you all the best for your jollies now, in case I don't make it back on here before you go on Thursday (?), so I hope you have a great time and your DW is blown away by your surprise. Have a good one.
