Thanks for your advice RedGoose and rosyq. I thought about saying nothing, and pretending we hadn't noticed but at the same time not spending it. Got a fair bit of money coming in at the end of the month as redundancy from the old job so it could have gotten lost in that..... does this make me a bad person? He's not had a wage slip or anything so i think if noone says anything we'll get it sorted after he has been given his wage slip and i can see what hes been paid for.
If the money is correct i think i'll be swapping jobs! lolSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Well in that case Sparky can you have a word with my DH about the meaning of 'surprise' envelopes :rotfl:
Ah I know what it is!! Its adoption papers for me and LC2! Your adopting us both and taking us with you to New York :j :j :j oh what a lovely surprise for your DW, and for us as we now dont have to look to far for roadkill
a measly 11p in my pot today as Dh was a right stingy skinflint and left hardly any pennies on the bookcase for meI do think he might have a secret though as I have now found 2 lighters that we certainly didnt own before and he's taken a liking to eating mints, which again is very out of character. I have picked him up on it as I have a keen sense of smell for that particular odour and I have smelt it a few times when hes come in from getting something from the van, but he feigns innocence. Unfortuntely this isnt the first time he's tried to convince me im going crazy and its all in my head  if he has taken it back up he better hope he can run faster than me cos im a bloomin good aim with a saucepan

What should we do about it?
What would you all do?
Thanks

You could say nothing and wait to see what happens but, personally, I think it's better to be seen to be honest and query it. If it is wrong you'll have to pay the excess back anyway but if it's correct at least you'll know you can go ahead and spend/save it accordingly. Hope it is correct! Good luck!Sealed Pot Challenge #012

Happy Monday everyone!
It's sunny here and not too cold now although I had to scrape ice off my car this morning! I'm sure you have all been doing this for weeks but I've missed most of the cold weather and early mornings while recuperating (sp?) for the last 4 weeks. back to work tomorrow for half a day then back to 'normal' which I'm quite looking forward to, it won't last long!
Just dropping in to report pottage of 13p yesterday which was 12p ROADKILL! :j:j:j
Would have had more change to pot today but the tesc0 shop came to more than the cash in my purse so I had to pay my card :mad: This means I'm currently over budget for the week until OH pays back his share.not potted for awhile now, got £40 for my birthday but am using it to get some extra riding lessons in. On other news, i have paid off my credit card! Yay me! On sad news, i'll be using it end of the week to pay for my cats to be vaccinated, wormed, and deflea-d for their visit to the cattery at the end of march. Oh well!
I love my dog but she sure is expensive! I just managed to get 3 lots of flea stuff on eb@y for £3 which normally costs £10 in the shops. We go through flea stuff annoyingly quickly because the little darling keeps rolling in unmentionable things and flea stuff has to be reapplied after a bath, shes had 2 in the last 2 weeks  You can also get cheap worming tablets at farm shops round here, might save you a bit?Well in that case Sparky can you have a word with my DH about the meaning of 'surprise' envelopes :rotfl:

I might try a saucepan next time my OH tries telling me "one won't make any difference". He obviously has forgotten his mood swings and weight gain over the 3 years it took him to quit but I haven't. I've got a nice big saucepan...;)

The mood swings  I told him last time if I have to go through it again i'll leave, hes an unbearably horrible person to live with when hes going cold turkey and ive done it 3 times with him now. He has also gone from a size 34 waist to a size 40so hes carrying quite a bit of excess weight which isnt good for him, but he doesnt lose it when he takes those death sticks back up, just adds to it when he gives up again
The main problem is I really dont understand what people say about craving it, I was a smoker in my teens and turned round one day, said 'I dont want to do this anymore' chucked my pack on the table and never craved for them in the slightest.SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
