I was thinking as I get paid 13 times a year I don't really count that extra money so was thinking of putting some in my pot. If it's in the bank I'll only spend it on rubbish. Must stop shopping! I'm off to a good start- we had a pot with random coins in just because oh leaves them all over the kitchen. Counted up and £46 in there, also waiting for some topcashback payouts so they'll going to. Have also decided to make lunch and take to work plus make tea rather than buy it, sharing milk costs with a friend. So that's £4.40 a day-crazy! Let's hope I can stick to it!
Will go and find my number now to add to my signature.
Thanks for that Niknak, you had me concerned last night I don't mind telling you! Making lunch saves a bomb so well done there! Topcash and Quidco money is fine to put in, so no worry. Thanks so much for easing my mind.BlushingRose wrote:We're not doing great at this as money is so tight that we're spending the 5ps and copper cos we have to
Please, BlushingRose don't worry! It's not a race and it's not about who saves most it's about saving as and when is possible. You have to save at the rate that's best for you! Please don't let anyone elses amounts bother you, it doesn't matter to anyone if you only get a few pounds, many struggled this last year so I promise you, you're not alone. Even I struggle at times. Be happy with what's possible not what you think it should be.
Well done savers, you're all doing wonderfully. jakes-mum, I was thrilled to hear about jakes-dad's job!!!!
Got to go now folks as I've a physio appt. See you later, be good and save well - the first part being a tall order for many I know!Have a GREAT day everyone!
Sue xAnyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.

Don't stress out about it, BlushingRose. It's far better to scrape together those coppers for something you need than to bung it on a credit card. I only managed to pot 26p today which was change left from our weekly shop yesterday. No roadkill at all even though I searched the carpark (much to my OH's disgust! :rotfl:) Stick with it, at least you can have a smile with usx
