Woo-hoo! Had a tax rebate this morning for £19.58, so banked it and put £20 in the pot as well as my usual £2. Also picked up 16p roadlkill to add in also.

Even if it feels that way now, BlushingRose, you never know what the future might hold and things aren't always bad for too long. Things often have a habit of picking up. So keep your pot as it is for now and if you can add to it do so, if not don't worry. Even if you're unable to save much this year, there's always next.

Don't feel too down BlushingRose just pot as and when and whatever is in the pot at the end of the year will be a bonus. Just keep popping in here and enjoy the chat - Sparky and Co always seem to bring a smile to my face with all their antics. They are a real tonic.

My hubby and I both got new jobs in the last few months, first full time job for me since I became a wife an Mummy ten years ago, and first full time job for hubby since he was made redundant 2 years ago. Puts you on such a high doesn't it?! Happy Days


Well for me, today I have potted 20p from changing my daughters tuck shop money and 21p from my desk in work... keeping at it now

Have decided when my mastercard win appears im taking daddy, Jake, Lily, Gran and Grandad to the beefeater for a nice dinner. I think they all deserve a treat
