Is there such a thing as desk kill?? Was cleaning out my desk and came across 14p, so of to the pot it went. Very slow on the potting front as am having to have a lot of nsd's due to a budget that is tighter than a badgers bum. Come on pay day I want to get potting!!!

Well if there is thats what I had today (21p's worth) ;) I too am waiting for payday to get seriously potting.

This has now become part of my bedtime ritual, check this thread, check facebook, do a bit of comping on the mse competition boards, check this thread and check facebook. Only then can I shut down my laptop and head to bed haha!!

G'night potters, sweet penny saving dreams :D

    * Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much.

debsf1, many congratulations on such a wonderful event, there's nothing quite like it as many of us here know all too well.

You are so well on the way with over £10 in your pot, welshone27, very well done.

Laughter is a good medicine, samtoby, so is crying as it's nature's way of relieving stress, good for you of giving in.:)

If ever anyone feels like they could sccreeaamm but can't because of family or neighbours, you still can do so - go to the bedroom, grab a pillow and bring it round your face and just scream into it as much as you like! See, no one else can hear and you've relieved your tension! ;)

All the very, very best, supasick! ;)

Just found a 2p in the middle of the kitchen floor. There is only me at home and the kids are in bed. It wasn't there when I mopped half an hour ago - maybe it dropped from heaven

Well scotmumof3 reckons it's inflation, DorsetGirl, sounds more like deflation to me....or a mucky mopper!!!!:rotfl: Joking honest!!!!

Call it deskkill, Gumpf, or call it what you like, I'd call it lucky and to be filed under "gains"! Don't worry, we all have slow times, but most of us are almost bound to get times that you're a teeny more flush then others, make the most of em Gumpf! :j

A great idea to pot what you didn't need to spend, ETO! Good for you in siezing the opportunity! :D

A whole £10 after in the pot after shopping etc today (yesterday)
After a goodnight's sleep everyone, have yourselves a really good day whatever you do.

    Sue x

We're not doing great at this as money is so tight that we're spending the 5ps and copper cos we have to :(

If you have to use the change to live - that's what you have to do. I can remember being in a similar situation many years ago when the kids were small (they are now in their 40's) and it was January and the bills came in. Do what you have to do to get yourself straight no matter how long it takes and then try to save a litttle for next Christmas, try to get ahead of the game, after all, this is what this challenge is all about.
You'll get loads of support here, something not available in my younger days - keep posting/talking.

Potted about £1 in change but not exactly sure how much

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Good morning everyone
Lost my voice over the last 2 days (some would say that's a good thing LC2/Jakes-mum! :p) but I'm struggling on manfully ;)

Popped my usual £2 into the pot last night, also another 5p tea room floor change from work.

It's rather wet here in Liverpool, the fine rain that soaks you right through :D, so anyone in the vicinity, take a brolly.

Have a great day everyone, stay safe & keep saving :)
