Had a really bad day work today. Everything just got too much and sometimes if that happens I think its best just to have a good old cry.

So I did. And feel much better now. Nice to see everyone is potting a lot today; I should have to spend money Friday so I will be adding to my pot Friday night. xx

Still potting all the coins under £1 thanks to the hens and their lovely eggs.

It's odd to think that in this household not only do the hens provide us with enough eggs, plus some to sell some at the gate, earn enough to feed themselves (thats where the £1 coins come in that I do not put in the pot) but also they are also helping to save for Christmas.

Need to have some lateral thought on what job the cat can do!!!!!!!

Well our cat is very good at catching mice, so perhaps if yours is the same you could rent it out? :D

Ooh sorry this was from about 7 pages back - I must keep up!

Well I figured out today how to have a NSD AND find money to put in my pot :j

Went to PO to post ebay parcels, and decided they are paid for by the buyer, so don't count as spend. So I paid cash, put the £2 change in my pot, and hey presto - Win Win :T

Keeping on with my coffee savings- following AlternateMe's suggestion, I can recommend potting first thing in the morning- keeps me on the straight and narrow for the rest of the day (well, as much as anything can ;)).

It hadn't occurred to me that there was a coupon thread... off to have a look at it now...

a NSD for me today, but will definately be spending tomorrow. Got my hospital appt and will be out all day. So will have to get lunch out at the least. Still, the food at teh shopping centre is actually pretty good and if you go to the right place you get lots of it!

Sorry to hear you had a bad day at work, but you are right,a good cry can make you feel better.
  • Hope you're OK samtoby.

3 nsds in a row so nothing for the pot at the moment. But more still in the bank!
