Oh I seem to remember there was something under the stairs gathering dust - now I know what it is.0 -
I have learnt the NSD's are just as important as the potting days.

Congrats to your hubby jakes-mum. When does he start?
Had to spend a note today - the first since starting the SPC properly, so I have some pennies for the pot at home. I've also put some more in to my little pot at work too.
I walked right across town today and I still haven't found a single roadkill. Saw a shiny button, but not a penny. I amazes me when people find coins and notes in the street, my hubby always has the gift, but me, I may aswell be blindfolded.
BlushingRose I'm not able to put every spare coin in my pot either, but even if it's £20 at the end of the year, it's £20 worth of pennies that may have got lost or spent on something I didn't need. And it's £20 that is going on something nice.0 -

Please, BlushingRose don't worry! It's not a race and it's not about who saves most it's about saving as and when is possible. You have to save at the rate that's best for you! Please don't let anyone elses amounts bother you, it doesn't matter to anyone if you only get a few pounds, many struggled this last year so I promise you, you're not alone. Even I struggle at times. Be happy with what's possible not what you think it should be.
Thanks so much. It would be nice to save up for next Christmas with the pot, but at the moment I don't think it's going to happen. Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568
