Hi Sparky,
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this in the past or not, but over here a dollar coin is referred to as a Loonie (because of the bird on the coin), and a two dollar coin is called a Toonie. When I go to the bank to get change I have to be careful how I speak and pronunciate because the staff in the bank get confused easily, for example if I want ten one dollar coins I can't say "can I have ten, dollar coins?" because they think I'm asking for a ten dollar coin (which as far I know doesn't exist), so it's much easier to ask for ten loonies :rotfl:which I have difficulty keeping a straight face for.
There also used to be a bus to the ski hill which cost a dollar for the ride, you've guessed it, it was called the Loonie Bus :rotfl:
Sorry, I think I've woken up in a giggley mood today.
Just to keep on topic, nothing in the pot for me

Morning everyone
2 X £2 coins into the Chicago & New York spending fund 2013. My usual £2 into the sealed pot plus an extra 5p to keep it company, the pot doesn't sound so hollow now, it's starting to make a nice clunking sound.

Hi sue, oh I don't mean anything bad and wheni say any money I only mean my money! I was thinking as I get paid 13 times a year I don't really count that extra money so was thinking of putting some in my pot. If it's in the bank I'll only spend it on rubbish. Must stop shopping! I'm off to a good start- we had a pot with random coins in just because oh leaves them all over the kitchen. Counted up and £46 in there, also waiting for some topcashback payouts so they'll going to. Have also decided to make lunch and take to work plus make tea rather than buy it, sharing milk costs with a friend. So that's £4.40 a day-crazy! Let's hope I can stick to it!
Will go and find my number now to add to my signature.0 -

Hellooooooooooooooooo Potterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs
im just in such a good mood todayDH just got a 12 week temp job :j :j it can include working away, but still its work so hes feeling much happier today and that depressive funk seems to have lifted just a little bit
We are off out today to buy him new steel toe capped shoes and some new work clothes (for some reason every pair of his work trousers have holes in a certain place  I do NOT want to know how that happened  :rotfl:) I could sew the old ones up but tbh hes been wearing them for 10 years now and I do think it will be a morale booster to start a new job in some nice clean work clothesHis old ones have seen more mucky jobs than I care to remember and I actually cant get the dirt out now, not even on a boil wash or with those special dirt booster things
Hopefully i'll have some pennies later on but cant guarantee it because if my lovely mastercard win comes today i'll be using that insteadSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
