Hi missimaxo,
I crush leftover crackers and mix with grated cheese to use as a topping for pasta bakes.
There's an earlier thread that may help:

I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together.
This may help with the digestive biscuits:

Hi,
I have just realised that we didn't finish the box of biscuits for cheese at christmas, they weren't put in a tupperware and now they have gone soft. I have used up the ones that are still ok soft but some just cannot be eaten with cheese now. Any suggestions of what I could use them for? I am really trying to stop throwing food away this year. Thanks in advance.

Next time you're baking, put them into the oven for a minute or two and they'll crisp up again

You can also crush them and make cracker crumbs to top casseroles or to use where you'd usually use breadcrumbs.Take the first step.
Even if you cannot see the whole staircase,
Just take the first step.

I love the idea of topping a pasts bake with them, crushed up with cheese. Can anyone tell me an easy recipe for pasta bake, I am ashamed to say I have only ever used the jar variety
It can't be that difficult to make my own.
