Just found a pack lurking at the back of the cupboard - best before of March 2007.
If they were going to be eaten, they wouldn't still be here (biscuits don't survive long in this house usually
), so I was wondering, any ideas for recipes? Especially ones suitable for small children to help with (seeing as it's the holidays).

DD has just made Rocky Road - it's sitting here singing to me! :j
Melt 125g butter, 50g demerara, 2Tbsp syrup, 2Tbsp drinking choc powder, 1Tbsp cocoa in a pan. Add 300g (how spooky is that   ) digestives broken into small pieces, and 100g small marshmallows. Put into a lined tin and chill in the freezer.
As an alternative you can replace the marshmallows with sultanas, cherries, coconut, walnuts, etc, etc.

Asked the kids, and Rocky Road got the vote - just got to get some small marshmallows (baking aisles? or somewhere else?) and we're off!

Bakery aisle will have small ones, or buy the cheaper bigger ones and chop them up (could even leave them big
). I like maltesers in too

I was going to suggest using them as topping for crumble till I saw the rocky road recipe! That one gets my vote too.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
