sandwich about 20 with fresh whipped cream so you have a loaf thing, pour some sherry on them, cover the whole lot with fresh cream, chill for an hour. decorate with a sprinkling of cocoa powder/hot chocolate powder.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

I'm sure there was a nice Nigella recipe involving crushed digestives, Maltesers and more chocolate..... I made it once and ate a disgusting amount of it all on my own.

    Chocolate malteser cake?

    Ingredients
    85g (3oz) Butter
    2 tbspn Golden syrup
    2 tbspn Cocoa powder
    170g (6oz)
    Digestives, crushed
1 x 175g Bag Maltesers, half crushed & half left whole

    Method
    1. Melt the butter and golden syrup in small heavy base saucepan.
    2. Stir in the cocoa powder, digestives, and crushed Maltesers until well combined.
    3. Allow to cool slightly, then stir through the whole Maltesers.
    4. Line a 1lb Loaf tin with Clingfilm, pour in the mixture and press down well, but be careful not to crush the whole Maltesers.
    5. Chill until set. About 2 hours
    6. Slice the chocolate malteser cake into chunky fingers and serve.
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
  • You can make lemon meringue pie with a biscuit base. It is very nice. Just make the base as you would for cheesecake.

    Read this thread here .
Just remember you can't get the small tins of condensed milk any more, so you need half a tin -ish. Heaven on a plate ;) The recipe is in there, I can't find Haribo's original post.

u could add the to a crumble topping...u can make a cheesecake type thing with angel delight on the top if u like that
That seems nice and quick...is Instant whip the same as Angel Delight, do you have to add less milk to make it thicker? (I´m in Spain and don´t have angel delight)
