I've been sofa-bound thanks to malaise so haven't had a chance to search out any poor street pennies that need a new home, but I've noticed that Mr Merle abandoned some on the kitchen table a few days ago... maybe I should rehome them.... :think:a penny picker upper. For anyone not sure about £'s to p's, simply move the decimal point two places to the right eg £12.43 would become 1243.00p :beer:Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -

Well, I popped out for a short walk and thought my luck was in when I spied a penny on the pavement, I was about to reach down for it... but alas! it was nothing but a piece of well-trampled pink chewing gum
I might need to make a trip to the opticians...a penny picker upper. Im writing on here when Im capturing all these pennies, usually supermarkey savings, not so many actual pennies being found, rather 'not spent'
But, are you just taking this as a saving? Or are you putting physical cash into your saving jar so that your pennies saved become real pennies in a jar?
So far Ive just been using it as 'money i didn't spend'. But I fear it will mean it leaves me more money to spend in the month, which defy's the purpose of capturing the pennies!!Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
