Wombled a whole 4p from a receipt I found lurking in my bag, and resisted the 134p biscuits in favour of the 100p ones - I know, I know, that's still an indulgence especially if I want to fit back into my smaller jeans.

Just received a random 47p credit in my bank account from Amazon :)
Not sure why but I'm not complaining :D

47 pennies is better than no pennies at all.

  • Great thread and I'm in.

Very excited to see 5 pennies lying under the cash point yesterday and even more excited when I spotted another 30 pennies lying there!
I've finally paid my overdraft off after probably 20 years of always going into it and I'm doing my own virtual saving pot with any loose pennies from my current account.
I still owe £3500 on credit cards (grrrr) but seeing my current account in the black all the time has been a massive boost as it means any spare pennies aren't eaten up by the overdraft and can be saved to use towards my debt.
Finally I see a lovely light at the end of the tunnel and boy it looks good.:j
