No pennies discovered today. Although I thought I had but they were ones I hadn't 'banked' from yesterday. Still, it gave me a little buzz, until I realised!

    I'm hooked on this!
Everything is ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end:)

  • Hi All
Thanks to all the supportive messages I received I plucked up the courage to ask all for the christmas buffet money. I said that I wouldn't expect anyone to pay just yet (as per xmas/5 week pay etc) but they were both fabulous and paid up asap, the other will be asked monday on her return to work. So managed to reclaim 600 pennies today and they are going into HM Sealed Pot. Am absolutely full of cold (it's totally disgusting) so won't be finding any pennies amongst the xmas decs I was intending to take down tonight!! Maybe tomorrow. x

Managed to capture 197 pennies over the past two days. OH has got big holes in his jeans (I have offered to mend them) and pennies have been making their escape quite regularly. I would feel guilty, but I had offered to mend the holes!!

    Captured another 5 pennies today.

:( 200 pennies escaped from the small change jar today - but only as far as being paid into the bank against the cc, so release was only temporary :rotfl:

Sounds like there's lots of people just chucking small change around for you all to find - I think the people of Lancaster are either more careful or someone else is getting to it first but I'm keeping my eyes peeled :)

Captured 61 pennies, they were looking suspicious and lurking around the bottom of the wifes old crafty bag. They are now detained within The Sealed Pot :D.

Thanks Crunchy Nutter, I've no intention of plugging and unplugging them, so hope they last. My dad has an uber expensive HDMI lead and I can't see much difference between them either :p...

Hope you've all had a good day guarding them pesky pennies :D.
