Back at work today and found 20p next to market stall outside front door, also 1000p voucher courtesy of shop and scan so added both to penny pot. I love this thread!
This year i WILL have savings!0 -
1000p thanks to a cancelled lesson! Also 303p from savings made on the groceries.
I also found a receipt in a car park with 43 clubcard points on it which I hope to remember to add to my clubcard when I'm next over there.Miggy

215 pennies are now all mine, even if I never actually see them. They are now under lock and key in my pressie fund.Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Woo hoo, back to work today and just found 250 pennies in my work bag. Swings and roundabouts as it was repayment to me for the christmas present I bought the boss on behalf of the team. However, that was accounted for in December, so in the pot it goes!Everything is ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end

Love this Miggy, will keep an eye out for any rogue receipts lying around. Always find some odd pennies lying around at work, and have just remembered that the girls at work owe me for their share of the xmas buffet that we had on the last day. Do you think it's too late (or too cheeky) to ask them for it tomorrow when I go back to work? x:)0 -
I always empty my purse of all 1p and 2p coins at the end of the week and put them in an jar until its full. I was also given a metal saving tin £1.00 from the poundshop and i saved every £2.00 coin i got inchange ( i reasoned that you dont get as many as £1.00 coins some weeks i didnt get any and some i got as many as 5! ) At the end of 8 months the tin was full and on opening I had £340.00!! I have started another on now and along with the pennieas saved its gonig towards paying off my credit card.0

That's what I am trying to do this year but I'm not brave enough to save £2 coins so I'm saving 50p's insteadWon't get as much but still better than nothing

For me everything in my pocket smaller than a 200p coin goes into a sealed pot every day - if that means I've got no money the next day all the better - means I can't spend any! I've got to learn not to keep spending my pennies on crap that i can only 'afford' because I happen to have money in my pocket...Search for Crunchy's Debt Deletion Diary...
